Due to the overwhelming support from so many on the site, I have decided I SHALL vape! Here comes the hard part...being a non smoker, I am completely clueless as where to start....What would be the best affordable and simple setup for a fresh noob like me? I will not be using any nicotine, just flavors. Thanks in advance for the expert guidance vape Gods! :2cool:

I'm curious as to why a non-smoker would want to start vaping.

Keep in mind that vaping is not necessarily only for individuals wishing to quit smoking, any more than public transportation is only for individuals who don't drive or own a car. It's true that the overwhelming majority of vapers are (1.) former smokers who used some form of vaping as a tool to quit smoking analogs or (2.) smokers who wish to at least cut back on analogs by supplementing their habit with what is widely considered a much safer alternative. However, that doesn't mean there aren't or can't be recreational vapers out there that vape or want to vape purely because they like the way it looks or tastes. For someone like the OP who wants to vape because she wants to experience the plethora of flavors available, and not because she needs her nicotine, is all well and good.

Besides, it never hurts to have another member fighting for the rights of vapers everywhere!

As to your question MizStakes, a simple basic set-up such as an eGo twist or Vision Spinner with either atomizers or Kanger Mini clearomizers would be a starting point to begin your research. I started vaping with a Vamo and Kanger MT3 clearos so I don't have any experience using those batteries personally, but I am certain others will chime in and get you started. Happy Vaping to you soon!!

I agree that it is a good way to avoid eating when you aren't hungry. It also gives you something to do with your hands.
Most people seem to like the more complex systems, but I like the ecigarrettes that are like a cigarette. It doesn't make every ask what you are doing, for one thing. I get great prices at vaporalley and from victory. Victory may still have the free starter kit (which you pay shipping on and gets you signed up for monthly deliveries).

I have recently discovered that Vaping is an effective stress reliever for me. Its almost like a mix of meditation and aromatherapy for me but more convenient, involved and interesting. I also know the idea of using vapor to cure ailments and relieve anxiety is highly regarded among many cultures that practice more Holistic approaches to medicine and wellness therefore health concerns are not an issue for me. I have also reviewed the original research on using vaping as an appetite suppressant (what it was originally invented for) and although I have no weight issues, Im intrigued by the idea because I advise people on weight loss.... hope this gives you some insight

Somewhere out there
Maybe try some zero nic juices in cartos and slim size ecig if it is just for fun/hobby etc. You don't need much power since you are not interested in TH or anything, just flavor. See if you like it before investing in alot of equipment. Volt or Halo G6 have great slim cig alike products. Get blank cartos and fill with zero nic juice, maybe some desert flavors and fruits??? bnrk

Hey MizStakes and welcome! What park are you standing in? It looks a little like the one behind UL but there are a lot of oaks around Lafayette. I got my degree from UL (although it was USL then). I forgot the name of that park behind the UL.

I'm glad to see a non-smoker interested enough to check vaping out. I am also glad to see you choose the 0 nic option. I would not wish a nic addiction on anyone!

You will likely get a ton of recommendations. I am still really a noob at this and only been vaping for about a month. I have both an eGo setup and the JoyeTech eRoll. I actually got the eRoll after the eGo. Most noobs want the cig-a-like because they are smokers. Being new and having both, I would say find yourself a good eGo starter kit. I liked the Vision Clearomizer options on the starter kits. I am probably going to get one of the Kanger Pro Tanks but starting off, they are a bit more expensive and nearly impossible to find in a starter kit. The starter kits are nice as you get everything you need (and then some in a few of them), just add juice.

If you hunt a little bit, you can find eGo starter kits with clearomizer for from $20 - 50. No real difference in most of those kits other than what they are charging for them. I don't know all the rules on suggesting vendors so if you are interested in the less expensive options, send me a PM and I'll shoot them back to you.

Again, welcome and have fun!
