After a couple posts on lack of vapor I finally gave up & put an entire new head on the Evod. I'm using Boba's 100VG. Now It has a super hard draw. Should I remove the flavor wick or does that have anything to do with the draw?
I finally got good vapor but it's like sucking a golf ball through a garden hose. Any Ideas?

Thanks for your help.

First thing I do with my EVODs when this happens is to check the air holes at the base of the clearo. Sometimes that may get gunked up, I run a needle through them to make sure they're not being blocked. Other than that, not too sure what's goin on.

I can literally see through the air holes & they are clean. I loved my Evods but sure am having troubles with them lately.

Did you install a new EVOD head, or a Protank head? I think... with a Protank head, you'd have much better luck with 100% VG. The air tube on a Protank head is 50% larger than that on a EVOD, so, a bit bigger hose for your golf ball. ;-)

I put an Evod head on it. I have been using the 100VG with no problems until the head went bad. I wonder if it's a matter of such lousy QC?

If there is only one flavor wick, just pull about half the strands out. If two wicks, remove just one.

The other route would be to thin the juice with either water or grain alcohol. Just a few drops per 10 ml, you don't want to water it down too much get the taste of moonshine on fire.

Does the thickness of the juice have to do with the draw? The last refill worked fine with the flavor wick intact & no problems at all. It was rather airy, actually.

If the head is a Kanger copy... sure. I've found genuine Kanger products to be pretty consistently and well made.

As I was saying in my first post... EVOD on the left, Protank on the right.

Remove Tank from power source
Test Draw
If good, look for obstruction when attached

If Bad look for obstruction in Evod Pipe/coil section

Draw is Draw - Juice thickness should not effect..........unless the pipe is full:laugh:

Draw is fine & like new when removed from devices. What exactly should I be looking for?

Depends on the exact positioning of the wick. I know when I got my mt3s it was a pretty tight draw when puffing without firing the battery while full but not before I put liquid in it. But after I re-positioned the flavor wicks that changed. 100% VG is thicker than the juice I use and that can affect things a lot. Again, depends on the positioning of the wick.

Just for the fun of it I just grabbed my mt3, took a draw without it attached to a battery, again with it on the battery, and a final time taking a drag. It went from easy draw, a little resistance, back to easy draw. Off topic, this is the one I just rebuilt a coil for about an hour ago to get lower ohm, 2.0 is much better than 2.6 on this, of course. Still not as good as the evod though.

If you try it off the battery...and then try it on the battery (without firing), and the airflow is different, then screwing in the battery is blocking it. Try loosening it a little. Also...if you are using any sort of an adapter, it could be clogged as well.

Tried off & on 2 devices & loosening it up too. No change.
Also no adapters. I am just stumped with what is going on.
