I have an I stick 50 watt and an Ipv mini 3 that I got at the same time. The mini works flawlessly but having troubles with the I stick. Last night for no reason the ohms started jumping all over the place. Have a 1.5 coil in and it either said no atomizer or jumped up to 3.7 ohms to 2 ohms to 3.3 then back to no atomizer again. I changed the coil but it still did the same thing. I took off the tank (oh BTW lol) a kanger genitank mega and wiped the 510 thread and it worked again.

Now it is doing it again!! Wiped it again. Didnt work. It is all over the place. The coil is only 15 hrs old. Is it my istick or my tank? Really sad. Help please

I just looked at my receipt for my I stick 50 and I bought it online from My vapor store on April 10th. I thought I had it longer than that but I guess not. I got on the Eleaf website and found their email and sent them one about the product and how I go about returning it. I guess that's the way I go about it I don't send it back to My vapor store do I? I wouldn't think it would be their problem.

one of two things could be happening. your connection is not fully seated or you are getting a short in your coil. I would suggest trying another coil, if the problem continues, take a screwdriver and nudging the center post up just a hair. I had the same problem with one of my protanks but found the coil was not fully seated. I always suggest that you don't leave the base on the mod when replacing the coils.

I got on the Eleaf website and I sent two emails to them explaining all the problems and asked if I could exchange or refund. I have heard nothing. I thought I had the Istick 50 watt for 2 months but I bought it on for 04/10/2015. needless to say I'm not very happy. Somebody mentioned doing a screwdriver and lifting up the post thread thing and I did that and it still didn't help. I plan on vaping for a very long time I love it. Eleaf will not get another penny from me ever again.

Yep turns out Eleaf is the leading Lemon supplier these days. I had mine 36 days and I never dropped it. I didn't really drip with it either. Just tanks. Day 36 it started automatically firing. I will never by anything from Eleaf again
Sure sucks doesn't it!! Oh well. May get another IPV mini 2. It works great thank heavens

isn't it kinda like having a car with all the fancy crap that breaks consistently? And while it could be a lemon, at the end of the day it's pretty simple. It's a battery - that passes a current from one end to the next. We put a coil in the middle of it to reduce current flow, and hence super heat the coil (kinda like a light bulb)... but now we shove in some cotton, a bit of liquid and smoke the thing up. The I-stick does some cool stuff - rather than using a ohm's reader when you create the coil - you have a device telling you what it is. The amount of resistance is going to vary (how the coil touches, how much or how tight the cotton, how much juice is in the cotton/coil, even how hot and when the cotton is soaking)... these can all create little differences in the variance of current flowing through the device. Including if liquid gets between the connectors.

I build my own coils around 0.7 to 1.0ohms. I like it around this range with my battery... and sometimes when I put the complete tank on my ohm reader (with juice, and after I've used it) and I get a totally different (but stable) reading (eg. 1.7ohms, 2.1 ohms, 0.8 ohms). If I break it down again, pull out the cotton - clean off the juice - and put it back on the ohm reader - I'm back to a stable 0.7 or whatever I've built the coil at.

If the thing vapes consistently - and mechanically works well - maybe ignore the readings? But if it's not firing - send the damn thing back. Might be time for a bunch of 18650 batteries :)

Hi Fellow Vapers-----my istick 50 watt has been working pretty good. The other nite the

ohms were jumping all over the place---it turned out that my screws had loosened up on one

of my 2 coils and once I tightened them down hard the ohms sat in one place and gave me

an accurate reading.
I am sorry. You are dealing with an idiot here. You mean the atomizer coil right? Not the mod screws.
