I've watched countless videos on how to set up my Genesis atomizer. Oxidize the stainless steel wick, wrap a coil, no hotspots. put juice in it and no matter what a get that burned taste.:glare: I have a mechanical mod. It seems no matter what I do the vapor is terrible. Going back to my carto tank that I know works.
What is your coil resistance?

Actually, you can do it real tight or just fairly so,

I just did a micro coil on a RSST with 0 hotspot yesterday with a VERY tight coil.

the trick with tight ones is to use a center pin / paperclip, or, like I used, a syringe needle. I rolled the mesh directly on it very very tight, put it vertical and started wrapping my kanthal 28 (32 would be a lot harder), each wrap perfectly in contact with the previous one

trick here is to the needle vertical the whole time, SPECIALLY on the last wrap when you reach the positive post, you dont want to pull into it or far away from it, just leave it vertical, any tension and extra looseness will result in hotspots, then I removed my needle and all was nice and peachy
