I purchased an e-cig from Smoke51 and have been using it for a couple of weeks - but - I don't like it. I have just spent a couple of hours reading threads about e-cigs (Smoke 51 got bad reviews, wish I knew about this forum BEFORE I bought it :() and am totally confused and need help.

Here is what I want from an e-cig:
1. good battery life/recharging time
2. good vapor production
3. refillable w/different flavors
4. the look/feel of a real cigarette
5. the best place to buy one

I know everyone will have different opinions but at lest I will be able to make a decision based on the most popular.
I appreciate your input - now I'm gonna take a couple Tylenol!!

Your mom said not to say...
Return it immediately if you still can. By what you are saying is your preferences I think a M401 like the Dragon which you can get at Truesmoker.com is a good choice for you. I used that to quit after 32 yrs of Marlboros at a 1-2 pack a day clip. It is closer in size and weight to a traditional tobacco smoke. The vapor and throat hit are more than adequate.

If you want it to actually look like a tobacco cigarette there are places that sell the plain white model like that. I don't have the names off the top of my head but I'm sure others do. The only one that jumps to my mind is the Sidesho from ModernVapor.com but I have not used it and I don't want to recommend a place or product I have not used.

The 510 is bigger than a traditional tobacco cigarette but has crappy battery life between charges so I don't recommend that for you at all. People use the PCC and that does help but it's still a pain.

Of course there is the cartomizers like the KR808D-1 which everyone who has tried has had good things to say about them. They are a little more expensive but still much cheaper than tobacco cigarettes. Check out Nhaler.com or Vapor4life.com for deals on these. These are the Rolls Royce and Cadillacs of the E-Cigs for a lot of the market. The GreenCigs while expensive is another one that you just don't hear too many complaints about. The carts between the GreenCig and the KR808D-1 are swappable too!

Hope that helps.

What brand and type of e-cig di you buy from smoke51?
Is it the type with a built in atomiser?
Most e-cigs you can refill with flavors and liquid you buy from different suppliers.
It seems that most people like the 510's, 801's and 901's.
I feel that if you get any one of these, you would be happy.
I personally use a 510, and i am a relative newbie, but i like it.
If you want the most vapor, throat hit, you might pick up a aftermarket PV like a chuck, or make your own, as in a nicostick.
I am getting the parts to make my own nicostick.
For the price of some of the mods, you can make a dozen nicosticks.

HI and welcome .... I have only been vapen for a couple of weeks now

I bought a Vapor King for the ease of use 2 peices ..It has great throat hit and plenty of vapor I have 2 auto batteries and they have lasted anywhere fron 3 to 6 hrs and recharge faiirly quick.. Vapor 4 Life has plenty of flavors and all the carts are refillable

The 501 is pretty popular but I didnt like some of the hassels with the attys and carts plus the battery life is not all that long from what I read

Plus Steve and his crew at Vapor4lifes customer service is top notch You can check out their thread at the suppliers section at the bottom part of the main page

Good luck with what ever you decide
Tom
