Interesting. I just tried to pay JuicyLiquid for some empty bottles and tweezers with my PayPal debit card and it was declined. I hope that PayPal realizes there is more at stake here than a few vendors. They are showing customers and the business world that PayPal can end anyone's business or buying rights whenever they feel like it.

Like I said before,

PP is being sleazy with this, because of the org.

But, you wait, if/when this PV becomes approved or 100%legal,
PP will be calling up every d*mn supplier out there and hitting em with spam and all these fantastic deals and special rates and the list goes on..

PP is just a joke. Yeah it is handy, but they were allowing PV's until the org came along and said hey.

yeah you'd have to check with your bank to see if you can accept check by phone. sometimes I pay bills that way, but not all payees have that set up.

whatever way is easier for you.

here's google of some services that offer CBP. I'd check your bank first though. They may offer it free

check by phone - Google Search

I will ask my bank about it...but that search yeild me to run away!!!
$50 a month! I even wonder if there is a clearing time of one or two days.

I just tried to complete an order at eSmokeClub for just Lorann's flavorings. PayPal denied it, saying "This merchant cannot recieve funds". This is the second time I've had this happen. I e mailed the merchant about it. Then I found a site called PayPalSucks.com/forums. Lots of stories and news about PP. Are they an American owned company?

That doesn't make any sense. Lorann's doesn't really have anything to do with e-cigs. We who like to purchase flavorings may purchase from them, but doesn't Lorann's basically sell items used to flavor mostly desserts?

Thanks for the report, this just isn't making sense.

Hey Rob, no problem here, still my main source. I will pay you through my online banking system until you get cc set up. Paypal is not going to win on this one but they will definately lose business. Where there is a will there is a way to do business with you. Thank You so much for everything you have and will continue to do for your customers. I know I will always be one. Looking at the post here today looks like you have a lot of loyal customers. I will always be here to support you in any way I can. This Pi$$e$$ me off to no end.

Lotus,,

Thanks, I have been keeping my eyes staring at that thread.

I am deciding to go with a merchant acct ( I think )

I think that out of all this chaos, just one person in the court or government system
actually vap's and gets a vaporites' message thru to make the judge's decision favor our way of life. Any higher power could and would release the powers to help us all....

thanks,
Rob

I knew you had been watching intently, Rob! ;-)

I posted that for others who hadn't had time or didn't know what was up.

Just out of curiosity, did you check out PayJunction? I added it to some shopping carts a year or so ago for some merchants who didn't like PP. They are well known to be evil.

The merchants were both quite pleased with PayJunction, but I have not heard much about them since. Hard to break into PP's near monopoly. Just wondered what their terms, etc, are like these days in case I need to recommend an alternative to a client.

And no, I don't agree with the doomsdayers. PVs will have some form of regulation in the end -which I think they should if it's a reasonable control over QC - but I don't think they're going to be banned.

These things will work out and we'll Keep On Vapin!

Mine was #1680. Went through the bank and no notices from PP.

Check by phone is used commonly be collection agencies - it used to be very common before everyone with a checking acct had a debit card. The buyer just gives you the numbers on the bottom of the check and the actual check number. Check with your bank in the morning - it may be easy to set up and would hold you over til you get CC processing up and running.

Lotus14 i think that is a great idea I have had money taking out of my account for alliance energy and the phone bill etc all they need is the check number and the routing number. Also how about when someone pays for their bills online through our site and our bank would something like that would you know to pay our bills online? Just thought that was a good idea actually a great idea:)
