Mine was #1680. Went through the bank and no notices from PP.

Check by phone is used commonly be collection agencies - it used to be very common before everyone with a checking acct had a debit card. The buyer just gives you the numbers on the bottom of the check and the actual check number. Check with your bank in the morning - it may be easy to set up and would hold you over til you get CC processing up and running.

I will have to check upon that one....not sure if that still works in this day and age of fraud everywhere....
I use online banking w/my bank and I know I can pay anyone or any biller.
I think it is done with a check in the mail auto ship. I did it way back when I opened my bank acct. about 5-7 yrs ago.
Maybe if someone has this feature, it can be used by their bank.
I can pay anyone anywhere, i think in the US but maybe the world, not sure.

It would help for people that dont have checks anymore or for security as I am sure you can do chargebacks or dispute the charge type deal.

I just tried to complete an order at eSmokeClub for just Lorann's flavorings. PayPal denied it, saying "This merchant cannot recieve funds". This is the second time I've had this happen. I e mailed the merchant about it. Then I found a site called PayPalSucks.com/forums. Lots of stories and news about PP. Are they an American owned company?

This really SUCKS Rob, so sorry to hear it, but PayPal DOES SUCK
It is only a matter of time before every supplier is Banned
If I did not buy so much on Ebay I would quit using them, but that is about the only way to pay for stuff on Ebay. You are still one of the best, always fair pricing and Prompt shipping, I will always be a customer, even if I have to mail a check.

I read another post that said that ASH sent a letter to PayPal quite a while ago (June?) advising them that e-cigarettes were not in the good graces of the FDA. I can't remember the real wording, but ASH wanted to show PayPal how they violated PayPal's rules.

As an aside, ShopGoodwill is, in face, a Goodwill (the nonprofit) site. Auctions are items donated to Goodwill, and does go to support their efforts.

No problem. Unless you were going to meet with them in the next few days...I wouldnt worry about it.

Now that I think of it, I will be taking a 4 day weekend vacation next week. The only vacation this year so far........and boy do I need it!

I use online banking to pay almost all my bills. You are right, you can pay anyone anywhere. They do send a paper check to venders that aren't in there system. Think it takes about 2-4 days, faster for payment on credit cards, utilities, etc. Might be just as fast to mail a check. This is another option though.

Interesting. I just tried to pay JuicyLiquid for some empty bottles and tweezers with my PayPal debit card and it was declined. I hope that PayPal realizes there is more at stake here than a few vendors. They are showing customers and the business world that PayPal can end anyone's business or buying rights whenever they feel like it.
