With your 510, get a Low Resistance Atomizer.
From what I've read, those will really nock you on your .... with tons of vapor and TH.

The ego/tornado is a 510.

yes a 510 model runs a bit hotter so it produces more and warme vapor... my suggestion would be to skip over the standard 510 and look at one of the eGo type models (which are a souped up 510) but have a larger battery so they have a much much better runtime between charges like 8+ hours versus 1-2 for a standard 510..they are however slightly larger (about the size of a small cigar (14mm or roughly the size of a AA battery around)...
something like Joye eGo is what I'd go with..

I'll chime in here as well and vote for an eGo type device as well. It works nice with an LR 510 Atty and, with an adaptor, will accept 901 Attys. I really like it with a LR 901 Atty -produces a nice cool vape with tones of flavor. YMMV of course.

Have you tried different juices? If not try upping the nic level, adding a little bit more vg for more vapor. There are many members very happy with their 901's...maybe he just needs stronger juices.

This could definitely work, especially with juices that are menthol or extremely cinnamon flavored. They generally have a higher TH than most other flavors do. Higher nicotine content adds more TH as well. You can also get a higher VG content for more vapor if you wanted, but that generally reduces the flavor of the juice if you get the VG too high. It really depends on the person mixing the juices as well, I imagine.

If all else fails, I would suggest getting a 510 (eGo/Tornado most likely). If you go the juice route and he still doesn't like it, at least you have extra juices laying around that you can use.

Try having him use your 901 with a passthrough. For me that seems to give a higher voltage output. If that works for him maybe try a style that gives him the higher voltage.

We use 36mg nicotine juice right now we just started....as far as I've seen this is the highest nicotine concentration...unless I've missed something. But he does think he wants to try a new flavor next time around. He's just using the marlboro flavored stuff right now...
Is there a difference in the brands of juice or are they pretty much the same?

Any one or combination of the following:
Higher nic juice, 510, higher capacity batteries (a "big battery mod"), higher voltage (mod again, and/or a passthrough), better juice (he might need to see more vapor), or maybe he just needs to find a flavor he likes.

Also, since he's new to vaping, I bet he could also improve his vaping "technique" to get more out of the equipment he has already.
