I don't much care about how it looks I just want something that works. I have used the Blu for the last 5 days and have only supplemented it with 5 or less analogs a day so I know this will work I just need to find a better system and pass this one along to a friend who has been asking about it. I of course bought the top of the line kit but the cartomizers are going to send me to the poor house in short order.

You are in exactly the same spot that I was! Found out quickly the Blu battery life was not going to cut it for me, but it was enough to show me that yes, this could really work! Bought myself a Volt (I second the mroutlaw recommendation - he helped me immensely) & it's working great!!

I have one issue with that kit $ir$smoke$alot:
After all the fabulous things offered in the kit... it says NO Warranty. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone as their main kit. If someone wants to pick up something cheap to keep as a backup method, or to try dripping, I'd say go for it though.

Very true thank you for pointing this out! :) Its a detail i missed although i am not concerned a vape shop here in houston has anything i might need so im in luck although for others i do see the problem.

My Blu purchase I consider a relatively expensive learning curvE expense. BUT it was what got me wanting to find out more. Will I use my Blu again? Probably never, it's just part of a collection of mistakes and success. But if I hadn't impulse bought that BLU kit I wouldn't be where I am today, happily vaping! Good luck to you, you found these forums and I'm sure you will find them as helpful as I have once you adjust to the information overload:)

I went straight from Blu to Kgo. WOW what a difference! I just forget to smoke on most days now.
Ego Twist wasn't out yet when I got my Kgo.
Btw 1st officer, your blu cartomizers won't work on the volt but they work on Kgo or ego Twist. Kgo & Ego twist are 510 thread which is rather standard. Volt has 808 thread.
Happy vaping. You can do this!
Keep us informed.

V2 is a brand name of a small cig-style battery system. I have not used them, but they seem to be on the pricey side.

I used a small stick battery system for about 2 months. The endless routine of charging batteries every 2 hours was a pain. You know that moment of panic you have when you realize you're down to your last cig in a pack? Imagine getting that same feeling 6 times a day. That is what it felt like every time a battery died.

So if cig-lookalike isn't important, go with something larger like an ego or kgo. I have 2 ego twist 650mah batteries and I can go from 5:30am until 10pm without needing to charge. For a cartomizer, I recommend the 1.7ohm Smoktech Resurrector from Crystal Clear Vaping. They are empty, just fill with your own liquid.

For liquid, you are going to have to try a few companies and flavors that suit your taste. Don't get large bottles to start with, order samples. Spend some time in the Eliquid section of the forum and read reviews on flavors that sound good to you. Try more than one vendor.

Welcome, and good luck!
