I'd put the juice in small shampoo or lotion bottles, the kind you get from hotels. How would they know what it is if its not labled as e-juice with nicotine? Are they gonna test every bottle to make sure your shampoo is really shampoo?

Great, I was going to, until you just tipped them off. Now every border crossing will be equipped with nicotine testing swabs that they will dip into every bottle of liquid I am carrying over, lol.

I think people are worrying too much. I mean, the whole idea that if we don’t talk about vendors, HC will remain ignorant is quite silly. They have Google too you know, and these vendors say “nicotine” right in their product descriptions. And now I’ll be warned about tipping HC off to the powers of Google… ha.

I mean the crackdown on importation started a while ago. A few discussions about it isn’t going to send them into red alert and have border agents tearing open vehicle upholstery. It isn’t illegal to own e-juice with nicotine. Hell I don’t even think you can get in trouble for trying to import it. Furthermore, who’s to say the e-juice you’re bringing back is an import in the first place? Perhaps you brought it with you on your trip to the States. Are the clothes on your back also an import?

Agreed. As long as we're not mentioning openly any Canadian suppliers that are still supplying nicotine, any harm that can be done has been done. We can't close the doors that were opened before. Talking about strategies won't hurt us at all, as long as we don't name names.

My plan, if I get low with no other options, was going to be to do a run across the border and fill a 4l distilled water jug with concentrated nic PG and throw it in the back with my antifreeze and wiper fluid jugs. Doing this every year or so would keep me and all the vapers I know in juice.

The only real question is how much of a criminal HC is going to force me to become. I'm all for following laws that show even a shred of common sense, but these laws don't, so I will NOT be abiding them.

Hopefully it won't be an issue in a few years anyway. I'm pretty sure we've reached the tipping point, and vaping will only increase in momentum from here on out. It will be impossible for the govt to stop regardless what laws and restrictions they put in place now.

Yeah this is good this is what i'm wanting to know.

Exactly how much do the boarder patrol inspect when driving across the border. My boss who is canadian and is now working here travels all the time between canada and US for business. He has told me on several occasions that they barely check his car but sometimes they do check some of it however not all of it.

So if you were caught how much trouble would you be in if they found a bunch of atomizers and liquid? Would they even know what that was if they opened it and smelled strawberrys honey and other flavours could people just say oh thats just liquid enhancers for water.

Lets get the talks started on this maybe something can be done along these lines.

If you get caught they would most likely just seize the liquid and read you the riot act and send you on your way. But once you have been caught your name will be red flagged and they will search you more often:unsure:

"doesn't matter, if it's from outside canada, it has to go through customs.
sucks dude and I understand. I placed 2 orders from different suppliers just in case. one got nabbed at customs. "

Why I asked if 'seized' shipment was from the US or China is because I have never had a shipment from the US even opened. I have heard that those from China are often inspected. So - was the parcel that started this tread - US or China? Has anyone had US parcels refused?

I've had unrelated products from the US open and inspected.

Ok totally out of the ecig thing, but I used to grow orchids, and when we sent each other stuff, we sent bare root & we never had stuff opened.
Do you even have packages from say "friends" opened? A personal package may be less suspicious? Can you get the components to juice separately in Canada & then just make your own?
I swear to God! Can we not save or kill ourselves w/o the government stepping in to make decisions for us? Tax the dang stuff or something get their dammed cut & leave us vapors to our thing!
I'm so sorry you are being kicked by the man!

I've had a package opened from China about a year ago. Of course, it was juice, and came through with no issues, other than the fact it was opened. I stopped ordering juice from China, though, and get everything from the US. LOL - I ordered a large flavor art purchase from Italy, and no problem. It was awkward, because they used a TON of 1 Euro stamps on it haha. I think customs picks on shipments from China particularly, because of their sullied reputation, and potential health risks. As for packages from the US, I've never ever had one opened up. There are so damn many packages coming between Canada and US everyday that it's tough to check them.

good to know there are fellow TPB fans here. I have every show, special and movie they ever did. Hell if they can pull it off why can't we? it's not rocket appliances

I love TPB, don't watch it as much as I used to, but we all go through phrases. Worst-case Ontario I can just put on the movie.
