I have two ego twist batteries. One 650 and one 1100. I charged the 650 completely last night and put my evod on it to be ready in the morning. I made sure it was off. When I went to turn it on it was dead! WTH I just got these like 2 days ago. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Let me know, I'm new at all the ego stuff and am very disappointed with the lack of charge these things have even with being off all night.

Sorry you are having problems OP and I know this won't help but Just wondering here....I use spinners and fixed voltage ego type batteries and have been for well over a year. I never turn my batteries off. What I am wondering is...maybe those that make the batteries haven't perfected the on/off switch and that is what is causing so many cases of "I turned my battery on and it is now dead".

I turn it off so it doesn't go off in my pocket at work. I thought it would help the battery last longer.

Leaving it sit should not discharge the battery UNLESS the button is pressed....barring an internal short of some sort.

If it's under warranty (and there's no light when you push the button) get an exchange. Cleaning the contacts is a good idea though.

And use caution if you try to recharge it again.

No just the one. I finally cleaned it really well and charged it again. It worked this time. We'll see.

I had the same thing happen with the eGO-C upgrade while I was on a trip to Brazil last week. I was using to vape on the flight down there and back and when I went to use it after charging it overnight it would only light up but not work. I had to use my vamo and eVIc which made the stealth vaping a little harder:p I simply took the battery back to the local b&m shop I bought it from and they replaced it.

I know your pain.

Something to watch for.. inadvertently pressing the power button while putting a device on your battery could cause a short which will trip the protection circuit. Not saying this is what happened... but it's a possibility.
