So today I am vaping the two menthol flavours I have: chocolate mint and watermelon menthol which have both been very refreshing in the past. I started with a new atty which I blew out and primed and I figure I will dedicate this atty to menthol flavours. The weird thing is that both of them have this icky plasticky aftertaste to them which I didn't notice when I vaped them before. They are both about the same age (about 2ish weeks) from Viking vapor. The first one I tried was the watermelon menthol and when I noticed the funny aftertaste I thought maybe it was just that juice so I switched.... but even after blowing out and priming again the chocolate has the funny taste too. The plastic is not melting on the tip I am using... what could be causing this?? Sorry for the long post but I am kinda confused... Thanks!

edit: not mixing the flavors... am vaping each one separately... :)

My regular flovors lately are Hawaiian mesquite and caramel macchiato. I thought today would be a good day to change since am starting to run a bit low on those, lol. I usually drip although sometimes use a cart if i am gonna be out and about for awhile... although haven't tried on this new atty. I will clean this one (am cleaning another one right now anyway) and try a new atty. thanks for the advice!!

edit: just wondering.... what would happen if i used the atty before it was dry? What if i did an alchohol rinse and hot water soak, blew out, and tried a dry burn?? Would that ruin the atty?

I can't answer your atty specific questions because I don't use them often BUT...

It may also be that your sense of taste is changing, especially if you've been vaping for approximately the same amount of time you've been an ECF member. About 4 to 6 weeks in it happened to me and nothing tasted right. It could just mean that your taste buds are recovering, and the effect is temporary.
