I know that the parts for the Pilot and EVO are interchangeable although the EVO battery may last longer and the EVO atomiser may produce more of a throat hit and so on, but is it OK to use the EVO USB charger with the Pilot?

I ask as the EVO one charges super fast and I didn't know if it might affect the Pilot in any way, or even if it might charge the Pilot super fast too if it is OK to use it?

Thanks all :)

The more I think about it, the more I think it should work without problem. After all, surely the charger is just a charger with a screw-in connection adapted for each battery type? The super fast speed of charge with the EVOs would be in the battery software and not in the USB charger? I'm no electrician and wouldn't understand anything about it, so correct me if I'm wrong.

My EVO's rarely light up when charged with the newer "micro" USB chargers, so I just guess and leave it an hour or two. But when it does light up, it seems to take longer (about an hour or so) than the super fast 15 mins or so that the old ones with a cord did. That's making me wonder if there wasn't a problem with the older corded ones (I still have 2 of those) so I haven't dared try it with my new Pilots.

just keep an eye on it . If it starts getting warm , disconnect it straight away .
Lithium shouldn't get warm whilst charging unless something is wrong..
Yes indeed! I had that happen with an EVO battery in one of the older EVO USB chargers (with a cord) connected to a brand new one of their white USB mains adaptor plugs. The battery and the silver thing on the end of the cord became really hot within minutes, so I quickly disconnected it all.

I figured it was the adaptor that was faulty as I'd never used it before and haven't used it again since then. I've got plenty of others anyway, so don't really need it.

I think I disconnected it all fast enough to save the battery and charger but not sure although they both seem to work OK.
