There is a lot of nicotine base hoarding going on. The e-cig industry has learned something from the gun industry. For many years, rumors of draconian legislation on guns and ammo have driven sales of these items through the roof. The draconian legislation never seems to happen though and the gun industry rakes in the cash.

Sales of premium-price nicotine base hasn't been affected, yet. I don't plan on keeping more than my 18-month supply of nicotine base.

How are they going to ban? Seriously. You can't ban Nicotine if you are over the age of 18, so not going to happen. Even if a few States did, many States won't so the manufacturers would pick up and move to those states. Not all 50 States would do this. It is the Tobacco industry ...... because there is an alternative. The smart ones are on board selling the plants to the manufacturers already. Plus every time I go into Walgreens which is daily, i see more electronic cigs than I do analogs(seriously).

Yes, yzer, and this kind of "there's not enough to go around" mentality gives you some insight into what more important scenarious would bring, let's say water or food shortage. What a shame. I absolutely am against paranoid hoarding behaviors----- but moreso against the whole mentality of scarcity and fear-mongering, because it is so negative!

if we ever run out of food or water, my nearest neighbor is welcome to 1/2 my only sandwich, and 1/2 my last glass of water. If I can't do that, I just don't want to be here anymore anyway. ;)

anyway, not planning on stocking up at all. If I can buy stuff, I will buy it. If not, I'll just vape Watkins strawberry flavoring from Walmart, in VG solution. Nicotine addiction isn't hard to kick as it is out of your system in about 10 days......it's the addictive behavior that always got to ME.... missing blowing smoke rings, holding cig in hand, and the ritual of smoking. Maybe I'll soak a few tobacco leaves in some PG and try to get some nic that way if I need it.

I think some of you guys need to check out the Legislation and News subforums and be informed of what the FDA did a few years back. It's not BT. It's Big Pharma and Big Anti-Smoking Nanny. You're right; you see Blu and disposables all over the place now. What you don't realize is that those are expensive and limited in voltage, battery life, flavors, and nicotine levels. That won't change except for sin taxes being thrown on top of the already steep prices. The availability of ordering over the internet, a free market, and access to nicotine base probably will change. Hence the stocking up. Can't really compare this to ammo stocking. Guns are a bit harder to ban what with the Bill of Rights and all.........

In any case, I recommend My Freedom Smokes.

I personally have no experience with ECX, that's why I said "I have seen". I just got through reading another recent post with more than one recent horror story about packaging errors. That's one of my big pet peeves, so I don't even want to risk it.

I don't plan on "hoarding"- I just want to get started with DIY.

They don't have 100mg base liquid, but Vapor Renu like many others carry 48mg and lower, plenty in stock. If you can't find 100mg, try aiming your sights a bit lower. Using a lower nic % base just makes things easier when you want to make your final vaping mix. It's not quite as cheap, but it is available, and cheaper than buying ready to vape flavored liquids from all the juice makers out there.

Take a look at the 'http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/diy-e-liquid/396145-super-easy-diy-method.html' thread here on ECF.

i disagree with you. The reason there is a shortage is there is now a huge demand for it. We have been lucky to have not had the huge demand for a while until now. Like you said Big Blue everywhere and other e-cigs. Where do you think they are getting the NIC juice for all of this from? That's right they have sucked the supply out.
