So in roughly 3 or 4 weeks I have progressed from a Blu to an Ego to an Ego Twist and now I have an Evic. Can't say I am done buying APVs but I am done buying and satisfied for now. However after about 2.5 days with my Evic I am looking for answers on how the delivery systems work. I have some Boge 2.0 cartos(I burn these ALOT), some 2.0 stardust clearos(burn these a good amount) and some 2.8 Vivi Novas (going to try Kanger T3s next). I think I got the conversion down to figure my wattage out with VV but I am wondering about VW. Here are a couple question I have if you guys can help me because I want to perfect my vape.

1.)When I was using my twist I would vape around 4 volts with the 2.8 Ohms, I use 100% VG so any higher seemed to create wicking problems and I would get alot off try hits, so 4*4/2.8 is 5.7 watts. That's how I understand it works. If I am wrong please correct me.

2.)It is also my understanding that when using the variable wattage side of things I can just set the wattage and the volts and the ohms of what I am using don't really matter. So if I set the Watts to 5.7 I should get the same vape as the volts and Ohms in number 1 no matter the Ohms. Is this how it works?

3.)This thing apparently goes to 11 watts. I have been using the Nova around 6 without noticing too much dry hits. So what is the 11 Watts for? Is there a delivery system that will allow me to use the full power to try and see if I like it better. Should I be using lower OHMs?

Thanks for any help you can give me.

1. Yes that is the correct way to compute your wattage.
2. VW means you just set your wattage to 6watts and the mod will auto adjust voltage to whatever resistance of the atomizer you use.
3. It depends on how well your atomizer keeps the wick wet. If it is wet, no burnt taste. GG people can go to 20watts without burnt taste due to how well GG attys keeps the wick moist.

Is there really that much difference in voltage and wattage as far as taste?

If you are asking voltage vs wattage, no. Just different means to get to the same end spot.

As far as improving the flavor of juices, probably. For example, for my delicate juice flavors, they are best vaped with a lower voltage (say 3.7v or lower, any higher and they taste burnt or harsh). My coffee flavors are best between 4.0v - 4.8v. My cinnamon flavors are best at 5.0v - 5.8v.

Always start around typical voltage range - 3.7v and gradually work your way up in voltage by 0.2v until you start detecting some burnt flavor, then back down 0.2v - 0.4v. That should be your sweet spot for that flavor.

Thanks, I have had a 5 volt box that a family member had sent me to try and get me interested. I tried it for a month or so and gave up, every juice he sent seemed really harsh. After about 8 months I have decided that I'm going to make the change. I found the egos which seemed to be a little better and now moving to variable voltage. Still trying to get it all figured out.
