okay i would like some advice on my problem

okay i bought a halo triton an less than 30 days later one of the tanks started leaking from what seems to be the seals a little over half a tank leaked out over night i emailed the company and of course they took forever and a day to email me back when they did they said this seems to be a coil issue and that i needed to replace it and that it needed to be replaced every 2 to 4 weeks and thanks for liking our product well what i want to know is should i push the issue further or is this really a coil problem they cited things like burnt taste and lack of vapor production which was curious cause i didnt mention having those problems and its not like they stated it in a way like these problems could occur they told me i was having those problems anyway any advice is appreciated

P.S. i know i could just buy another tank for like 7$ but its the principle of the thing

You might have a loose coil, mine wiggles loose once in a while. I have to dump it out tighten it and it starts working again. I use a different tank, but I have had it happen on a few tanks.
Mine would leak or not work at all when it comes loose.

Yeah, if the head is loose it will leak...it is easy to loosen the head when you unscrew the mouthpiece. If you don't see leaking on the outside, but only down the center tube, then the coil...or the whole head would be the proble,

Just for further info...the Triton tank is nearly identical to a Kanger T2. The T2 will work on a Triton battery...just does not screw on all the way leaving a 1/4" gap or so. Any Kanger T2 replacement head will fit on a Triton tank...they are identical.

T2s are about $4.50 anywhere...and T2 replacement heads are $1.50 or so (although most are short wicks).

Don't get me wrong. The Halo stuff is top notch, and I love the Triton batteries...but the tanks are a bit pricey.

The coil assembly will loosen sometimes when you open to refill. I always check and just snug it up a bit. Do not crank it down. No need to empty the tank.

The coils have to be replaced with as far as I know, every brand of tank, the wicks burn in the middle. However that wouldn't cause leaks I don't think, like others have said, I believe yours is just loose. Try to tighten it and see if that fixes the issue, if not get a replacement coil. You should buy the coils anyway, because at some point you will need to replace them regardless.
