So long story short... I was vaping on the halo triton system for a while. Using JC red oak line. The juice flavor was always great, enjoyable, etc etc. But I could not stand the leaking of the triton and the inconsistency of the coil heads. So I switched to a twist battery with an evod. The equipment is super reliable, no problems at all. But the taste of the juices are not there. So I switched tanks to some top coil head stuff sine the evod is bottom coil. Still no good on the flavor, plus some leaking issues.

With all that being said, should I just go back to the Triton and deal with the equipment issues or should I try something like the vea from jc? Any advice

Could be a couple things:

You may be getting to used to your juice flavor. Sometimes all you have to do is try a new flavor for a while, and then go back to the other one, and you'll be able to taste it again. (This happened to me with Poppa Smurf and Buttery Nipple)

You may want to play around with different ohms/voltage/wattage. Changing the temperature you cook your juice at can have a huge effect on the taste.

I've heard some juice lose flavor over time. In my experience, I've found letting juices steep increases flavor, but I have heard from other people their juice lost flavor from sitting.

Keep your tanks clean. When you run through the next one, take your tank completely apart (if you can) and rinse every piece out in the sink using hot water. Dry completely, make sure to blow any water out of the air holes.

Hopefully one of these will help you.

:)

How is it you are getting leaking with top coils?
Over filling?
Laying device on side?
I have and use many devices - Cartos, top coils, Bottom coils, Tanks <ss mesh and silica>, drippers

For Top coils, Kanger T2 is as good as it get (IMO) solid performance and serviceable
VISION Vivi would be top coil tank of choice - Good capacity, choice of coils included, reliable

BCC - you have a ton of choices, but have to take time to learn how to use and tweak
ALL Kanger BCC, Davide Tanks, Several Kanger Clones(identical in function)

Pure Flavor delivery - Dripper and a lot of practice.:D

Start looking for a decent re-buildable atomizer. Time to step up your game. Once you get a good one, and discover the quality and quantity of vape possible, you'll wonder how you were satisfied with your old gear. I recently bought the Russian rba, a Kayfun copy/clone and love it. Owning a Provari, the addition of the Russian was like a match made in heaven. I kid you not. I like it so well that I am in on a co-op purchase of the Rocket, another Kayfun clone. Check out the rba section of the forum for ideas and suggestions. Once you find you like, do a search on YouTube for reviews and demonstration, then search for the best price. I used to run Protanks and thought they were great and fantastic!!! I was wrong, wrong, oh, so wrong. The PT is mediocre at best, compared to the Russian.

I've always had leaking issues with Kanger product (Evods, Protanks, T3s) but its a minor dap of e liquid on the 510 connection. If you've tried different tanks and still getting a lack of flavor try changing the voltage as N8ball suggested. Voltage has a huge affect on flavor and vaper production. Another suggestion would be trying carto tanks. Hope this helps.
