Okay..I'm back with question!!!

I have built the box mod and love it.... I put an 801 ( 510 adapter to 801 ) and I'm enjoying it. Now, could I put and 801 in the box? Meaning, Drop the atty down some so so much doesn't show or hang out? Would it be too hot inside the box next to battery? I'm using a 14500 3.7v 900mAh.
I'm just wondering ... Maybe the battery isn't strong enough for an 801? But I have to tell you it seems to be working great with this adapter...

I would be worried about juice leakage. the 801's i had leaked like crazy.

hmmm, hadn't thought of that... and right now my adapter is making that not a problem... thanks...something to ponder...

many have recessed the connector inside the box, i wouldn't worry about the heat. yes, 3.7 powers the 801 just fine.

A DSE 801 uses much less current than a Joye 510 atty.
