Does your 510/801 adapter work on your SB?

I have a 510/801 adapter from goodprophets, I'm trying to use my 801 atty on my SB but the center post in the 510/801 adapter doesn't seem to be long enough. I have this problem with a 901 adapter but all I have to do is depress the center post down to the battery before putting the atty on and all is well. I tried that with the 801 adapter, from both directions (pushed center post against SB battery, then against atty) but can't seem to make a connection either way. Tried screwing the atty on half way between both components to allow them to seat their own connection on both ends, no luck there. The 801 atty in question works fine on everything else.

I just want to make sure that Altsmoke's 510/801 adapter isn't doing this before I buy one, I don't know if every vendor's adapter is from the same place in China.

Should also add that I'm having trouble with the 801 adapter on the SB as well as on multiple auto and manual 510 batts, so it's not a problem with the SB connector being too deep.

Are you using an 801 or a Joye 302? The altsmoke adapter did not work well with the 302 (altsmoke tells you that up front), but the adapter I got from goodprophets works find.

I should have added he is using the Good Prophet adapter with a BE112.

I use AltSmoke 510->801 adapter on SB with Janty Classic atoms (Joye302) and it works.

Well, Rob at GP is being a stand up guy and shipping out another, he has not heard of this happening with his but only a few times, so it looks like I just have a dud and hopefully the new one will do it's job. I was worried it would be a crap shoot getting an 801 running on my SB, I remember reading about shorts or something. Good thing is I never felt any battery warming or anything.

I only have heard about shorts on the chuck with the 510 to 801 adapter. I have also heard not to use the BE112 on the Xhaler. Silver Bullet should be good.

I have the good prophets adapter. Works perfect on my 901 and KR808 attys. Just make sure to put a little noalox or WD40 on the threads to get it to ease into the threads nicely. That's what it took for me.
