So I posted like a week ago here .

I still have a vapour2OCB with me but i found out that even tho i have 3 cartridges for it, I managed the burn my first one and trying to clean out cherry flavour from the second one with vodka i managed to ruin the second cartride as well. My adaptor for it is also starting to have contact problems (doesnt charge sometimes).

So I'm thinking about getting a new device, which will probably be an Aspire Odysse kit , but im not entirely sure if that would last any longer.

Basicly I'm looking for advice on a solution that can possibly last me a year or more and is repairable.

Also I see all the fancy eluqid sites like Alice in Vapeland but they all seem to be located in the USA and USA-EU customs are a ...... So any "fancy" EU liquid site advice would be good. I'm going thru sampling a 2nd order and so far I dont really have a definitive favorite.

Hello @uzsibox . I feel like the Aspire Odysse will be too large a step from where you're at. It is a Subtank (a nice one at that) which is a totally different learning curve than the basic vape you are now trying to work.

When I have someone new to vape or beginning basic I recommend the iStick 30w mod (or 40 watt iStick with temp control) and the Aspire nautilus Mini. Both are user friendly and have great track records, while giving a quality vape. The Nautilus isn't a cloud factory like the Triton would be in the kit you mentioned, but more closely resembles the draw of smoking, made for mouth to lung type draws.

There are literally dozens of kits/mods/tanks better than the starter kit you have, and many for the same or less price. I have a few links for shopping in the UK so you can look around to find the vape that fits your style.

How different are subtanks to normal tanks? I seriously don't mind the smoke, even when I used to smoke cigarettes the smoke itself was a huge enjoyement for me and still is.

I might be impulsive about the odysse but since i lack knowledge thats why i ask. Money is not really an issue, so even if its a sub ohm tank can't i just loweer the wattage and enjoy it that way? Or even on lower wattage the tritton produces more vapour?

EDIT: Ok so the aspire odyssee is 100 usd, while the combo you mentioned is 86 usd altho the aspire nautilius i can get is a BVC, which im not sure if is the same as a mini.

iStick 40W TC - Teljes express készlet - Fekete

Aspire Nautilus BVC 5ml integrált patron készlet - Eredeti

EDIT2: I have to clarify that the vaping quality of my current set for me is fine its just the charger and bad tanks which I want to switch from. Both proprietry so even tho the set was 90usd i have to drop like 9 usd every time for a new tank -.-

The main thing about Sub ohm tanks , and the coils is that it takes a certain amount of power to heat the coil to produce the vape. You can turn the power down a little but you may not hit the sweet spot doing so. Subtanks are mostly for lung hitting. Most people coming off cigs are mouth to lung vapers. I do mouth to lung on my Kanger Subtank Mini, but I got a more restrictive drip tip (mouthpiece), and choke the air flow down. I still have to use the power to heat the coils to get a nice vape.

If money isn't an issue, I would recommend really nice advanced gear. First the battery part, I would only buy a temperature control mod (battery). Seigelei (TC), Pioneer (IPV 4s TC), Snow Wolf (TC) and Smok now has a new one out the CUBE II. These are probably the top of the line in temperature control. With temperature control the power shuts off if the coil gets too hot and keeps you from getting the dreaded dry hit. You have to use special coils (like nickle, titanium, or stainless depending on the mod) but you can also build your own with a small investment. You may never use all the power of these mods to vape (I have a 150 watt Sigelei and haven't gone over 30 watts yet), but if you do decide to grow into it you have the power.

Just about every decent/expensive tank on the market has coils made specifically for the temperature control units. Aspire has the Triton, Smok has the TVF4, Innokin is just coming out with a new one the APEX, and there are many more. Even my Kanger Subtank Mini will work with temperature control. As will the Aspire Nautilus provided you use the proper coil.

The mods I just mentioned are the type that use a replaceable battery. When they need recharged you just take out one set (pair), put them in a quality charger and put fresh batteries in the mod and you're good to go. I have 3 sets of batts in my rotation. They are "married" (always kept as a pair, never mixed, and the same type). This is the "style" of the top of the line mods.

There are some really good upper middle mods too. Innokin MVP Pro, Evic VT, IStick 50, which all have internal batteries you recharge with a wall adapter and usb cable or directly hooked to the pc.

I would suggest looking at a you tube review of the Nautilus and see if it is what you want. When I was using the 5 I had I thought they were great. Still do.

I think the biggest issue from the Nautilus to Subtanks is the volumn of vapor the Subtanks give. The Nautilus will feel like a factory to what you now use, and the Subtanks will feel like a factory to the Nautilus. With each upgrade/growth you'll use more juice and have to lower the nic content of your vape. Going into Subtanks most people lower by half or more.

The rule of thumb is going to be the same no matter what device you get. Start low power, take a draw and bump it up to repeat. If it starts to taste funny, gets too hot or tastes burnt, back it down. Different flavors will have different sweet spots so you just have to experiment.

Good luck in your decisions.
