Something is wrong, and I'm not crazy. lol. I have been worried because almost nothing has been tasting the same as it did as little as a week ago (except for the blueberry, which was something new I tried). I can now confirm that I have not lost my mind in at least one of these flavors. Today I just got an order of pear cartos, pear juice, pineapple juice, and margarita cartos (by the way, these are decent tasting. Not my fave, but I think they'll grow on me ). I right away refilled my older pear cartos with the new pear juice. It tastes completely different. I don't know what it tastes like, but it isn't pear in any way, shape, or form. I tried 4 different refilled cartos. They all taste like...crap. So, as usual, I'm thinking that once again my tastebuds are whacked. Then, for the heck of it, I screw on one of my new pear cartos that I got. Okay. It tastes just like it should, and just like it always has since I started with the VK. Now for the 5ml of pineapple. Now again, this flavor is new to me, but I can tell you that it tastes exactly like my pear cartos. BUT, it just may be something I need to get used to yet. No biggie, because I LIKE the pear.

Almost every last flavor I have gotten in the juice (not cartos) in the last week has tasted absolutely nothing like it used to. They all taste horrible. The cappuccino, the Doc Pepper, the coffee, and now the pear. So now I'm sitting here with 4 bottles of juice (one of them 5ml) that I can't use (JenJen, if you want to cancel on the coffee, let me know) and I don't know what to do with.

Steve, something is going on with your manufacturer (I'm not blaming you for this. You can't taste everything before you ship it out lol). These bottles of juice are bad or something. The three 20ml bottles I have that taste awful are the same manufac. date: 16/04/2009. The other 5ml cappuccino one has a date of 26/08/2009.

I'm kind of at my wits end here, and I'm afraid to buy anymore juice.

Update: I can now definitely confirm that my new Doc Pepper juice is VERY different from my other Doc Pepper cartos and juices. I just found an old carto that wasn't quite dry that I had refilled using some sample DP that I had gotten with a past order. It is completely and totally different from what I have now.

I have a 5ml cappuccino that has a date of 26/08/2009. It tastes on the mild side, but its does taste like cappuccino. But my cappuccino carts are 24mg while the 5ml bottle of juice is medium.

I also have a small 5ml bottle of Med. Dr. Pepper with a date of 26/08/2009, and a 20ml 18mg bottle of Dr. Pepper with a date of 16/04/2009. I will get my roommate to try them out later, but I can definitely say the small bottle smells a lot stronger than the 20ml bottle...but as far as I can tell they smell the same.....if that makes sense?

I don't have any old juice to compare the smell, but I wish I did. I just know that what I am tasting now and what I had before are very different. The old DP carto tastes like...well...pretty close to DP, while the new juice tastes...I have no idea how to describe it, but it isn't pleasant LOL. Same with the pear and the cappuccino. I don't have any old coffee cartos or old juice to make a comparison. I just know that coffee was my fave and this new bottle is...not my fave.

My roommate tried the larger bottle of Dr. Pepper in a new blank cart and he says it's ok and tastes the same as the small bottle. However he too thought the smaller bottle has a stronger smell to it.

I don't have any Dr. Pepper prefilled carts to compare with. I have been refilling my Red Bull carts with Dr. Pepper. I also have a large bottle of strawberry with the same date and it tastes ok too but it is also a bit on the mild side like the cappuccino. The 20ml bottle of grape I have with the same date is perfect...very tasty.
