Old brass or new?

Can't tell from pictures, but i do own both before.
Old brass is golden and yellowish when its polished, it look like a coated matte finish when it tarnishes and the color doesnt really change.
While the Naval Brass looks abit like SS, less golden and a hint of reddish color. It gets dark when it tarnished, like those cammo dark green.

It´s easier to identify by SN.
For me it looks like New Brass.

I tried looking for the serial on the gg wiki. 2658 but, I didn't see it. The cap I had never noticed till this pic. It does appear to have a newer/cleaner look
like Runju said- new brass until 2499 and old brass all serials above 2500..... happy to have the 2503 in old brass loooool
