I have a bunch of old blu cartos from an earlier attempt to quit analog's. does anyone know what the filler is inside the carto? would I be able to use it to re-wick my evod clearos? I realize this sounds pretty stupid, but someone, somewhere at sometime has had to try this. isn't this material basically in contact with a coil in a blu ecig?

I took 2 coils and removed the top wicking from 1 of them, I replaced it with 100% cotton yarn (peaches and cream, sold at wally world) I filled both tanks with wakonda from nicoticket and vaped both for 2 days. Took them apart and checked the coils on both. The one I replaced with cotton was considerably cleaner than the one with the stock material, I assume was silica. there was virtually no difference in taste and the cotton seemed to give off better clouds. Do you thinks it's possible this is purposely done by manufacturers to speed up coil failure? Or am I just thinking waaaay too much?
