i also ordered the 3.7 bottomfeeder, so far i have only used the joye510 e-cig. i've been vaping almost 3 weeks, just loving it!! but i don't know anything about the bottomfeeders, what is best to use with them, etc.

i'm spending alot of time reading posts on box mods now, trying to glean as much info as i can. man, am i excited about this, lol!

Here, there, everywhere!
Warmer, stronger and more vapor, a little to warm for my taste but that's preference.

Yes they will fit a 510 thread but you'll need to use a 306 drip tip with them.

Where's a good place to get them? Obviously you use them and if you can direct me it would save me lots of searching?

How much different are they than the basic 510 atty? Will they fit the 510 thread I ordered?

Sorry for not getting back looks like some one did get you the answer. The Cisco is a good atty comes in 1.5 or 2.0 ohm

both are good it will all depend how warm you like your vape. :)

I ordered a 5v illuminated with button on the top and neck strap, and today Oldgoat PM'd me that he finished it and it will be in the mail Monday. I cannot wait! :headbang:

This is my first mod and I love the look (not a fan of brown box mods). I've only used an eGo at this point since giving up analogs and I really wanted to try vaping at 5v to help me decide how different/better it is before I drop a lot of money on a non-plastic mod. I will post my impressions and photos here after using it a bit.

BTW, the prices listed on the first post were his sale prices for the Christmas gift-rush, so it's best to PM oldgoat and inquire...although mine wasn't that much more. Still, these are hand made and they take time and parts to build, so check with him first! :thumb:

I raised the price to 25.00.for the 5 volt box mod... Ron (Old Goat)

Just to let you know...jeffakaslinger did a review on youtube of all my mods. It is a good way to see them being vaped and get his opinion also...and he is funny.

Thanks Ron (Old Goat)

I thought I saw it in this thread, but now I can't find it. Old Goat, are you doing any mods with a 18650 battery? I like the idea of longer battery life. If not, that's understandable - the case required for a fatter, longer battery may be harder to find.

As far as the regular 3.7 volt bottomfeeder, what is suggested for use? An atomizer with a drip tip or a blank cartomizer, or something else altogether? I'm sorry if these questions have been answered as I've been digging through a ton of information and it's becoming slightly garbled together. These seem like quality mods with great prices, and their reputation as well as that of the maker seems pretty flawless.

wow I'm new don't yell at me lol I'm still on analogs I am getting a eGo but have been looking into all the mods these are really nice I really don't want to smoke any more I've tried the patches they make me sick in like 2 weeks I'll have the $ to do something about it !!! lol

Nobody's gonna yell at you, man. :) I smoked analogs when I first started vaping. Be patient with yourself and when you get your Ego, reach for it instead of the cigarettes until it's natural and fulfilling. For some people vaping is an instant and total replacement for actual smoke but it wasn't for me. The big deal about a bottom feeder is the convenience of not having to drip or worry about topping off cartos so do consider one once you find out vaping is something you're going to stick with. You can't beat the price of these, that's for sure.

Best of luck to you. 2011 is the year you're giving up cigarettes! :vapor:

Ron, I almost won one of your 5v bottomfeeders that Jeffakaslinger was giving away on his new Sunday night show on ElixirTV...I say 'almost' because I didn't follow the rules precisely and was disqualified. :(
Good thing I still have the one I ordered coming this week...although a bottomfeeder would have been a nice addition...
