Just wanted to let people know that it has been very damp and wet here this week so I haven't been able to paint any custom mods...It is nice today and will be painting all day to get caught up.

mods should be done by the middle of the week. (takes a couple days for the paint to dry.)

Thanks for being so patients...Ron Old Goat

Thanks for the update and PM today Ron.

OK, just gotta ask, received an older 3.7 OG and have waded through about 30 pages...

What's the best atty to use? 510 or ___ ; bridge or bridgeless; etc

Being my first mod, I would like to maximize the enjoyment.

TIA

Well, the atty will just be personal preference. Some like a 510, some like 306..... Some like low res, some like standard, and some like HV for the 5/6V and VV. I like to de-bridge/de-wick mine to increase flavor and vapor.....also feels as if I'm not using as much juice that way. There again.....personal preference. :)

@ Ron....
Got my baby back today from her tune-up, and works like a champ! Having a couple of issues I might need to ask you about, but nothing I see as major. LED wire placement and door not staying on. Wire placement is a concern....not a problem, and e door issue might be resolved if I remove some of the silicone in the bottom corner....I hope.

Thanks again, bud!

I bought my first old goat. Little 3.7 painted green looks fresh as hell. Got a green drip shield on there and its happenin. Suprising with a 510 to 901 to 901 to 510 adaptor on there its still feeds perfectly, something I was conserned about at first, but man this is vaping heavin. I was never happy with any PV that I had, but this is the one. The learning curve was about a day, but now its all part of the ritual. Two questions though real fast.

One the back door does not close completly, and it wont stand up straight because of this. Its not a huge deal, its stays on, its just not flush with the rest of the box. Is there a way to fix this?

And secondly, after only like 3 days with my 3.7 old goat I purchased a VV old goat. I love these mods. I have never been so excited about vaping. I feel like I did in the beggining, when I first started vaping, so full of excitment and optimisim. Its a reguler black box and I was wondering what it would cost to get it painted. I love the paint job on my yoda (thats my 3.7 box mods name) and I want Obi-wan (because I want it blue, like his lightsabor) to look equally fresh. Let me know and thanks for exsisting and making the best and most afforable bottom feeder out there. I am an offical fan. In fact I'm going to put in my sig.

If you like using your Drip Shield with a 510 check these out. 510 to 510 adapter | extender

I use them all the time when I use my Drip Shields on my Juice mods.

I personally Use a 306 Low Resistance Atomizer with my 3.7 Bottomfeeder, but it is personal preference and everyone will have there own favorite combinations.

Now with my VV Bottomfeeder I like using 510 atomizers over the 306's. Don't know why, but it seems to just work better.

Hope this Helped...Ron Old Goat

Check to see if there is any paint or glue stopping the door or cover from completely closing...I try to get them to close as good as possible before they leave the shop. But one might have slipped by.
