Every now and then I'll get a whiff of a smoker and it's so not pleasant.

I'm ashamed knowing I used to smell like that. Never again.

I've been having "smoking" dreams a lot lately....weird. Last few weeks I find I'm smoking in my dreams and enjoying it. No, I'm not in danger of relapse...the last time I tried to smoke, the first (and consequently the last) drag made my lungs try to vomit. Its just odd.

I used to have those dreams quite often, too, but haven't now for a while. About 3 months after starting vaping, I decided to try a cigarette, just to see if I was really done with them. Every other time I had tried to quit, that first one was the best thing ever. Not this time - I couldn't finish 2 puffs, it was completely repulsive. I was absolutely amazed, never would've believed it could happen.

It's the vaping. 2 days after we started vaping, Mrs dopeh lit a cig and it was revolting. The smell, the taste, everything but the idea was nasty. It took some time for the idea to be repulsive, but we are there now.

We were also amazed it could be gross after only 2 days. In the past I had gone that long without a cig, but when I finally lit one it was the best thing ever - not this time, looks like the body instantly prefers vape.

I did notice my "analogs avoided" counter clicked over 10,000 yesterday. In actuality, it's more like 12,000. I can't even imagine what that pile of butts would look like.

I bring that up when friends laugh about how much I spend on e-cigs. "Wait... I spend about the same money a month on this as you do on cigarettes. I have a desk full of cool stuff. You have a huge pile of butts. I'm pretty sure I don't get your point."

I caught myself heading for the garage a couple of times (where I used to smoke). Many more times it would just flash in my head that it was time to go to the garage. Freaky unwanted thoughts! When it happens I just reach for my PV and everything is OK. I'm 50 days into this and feeling pretty good about it.

Ego and Coffee in hand the other day I went to the front door searching my pockets for a lighter in preparation for my morning cig. I was like what the hay I don't need lighter nor do I need to go outside. LOL I bet it happens more then you think...

I never smoked inside, and my outside ashtrays are still outside. However, after I started vaping, I did buy a couple of ashtrays for inside to hold my analog like pvs.

I have 2 big ashtray on my coffee table now they're full of 6ml and 3ml bottles and atties, I have those smoking dreams too I think it because it was such a big part of my life for 30 years.
