Old noob just got his first hardware and needs advice

What voltage is a the eGo 900mAh battery that came with my madvapes 510 ego mega dual coil clear cartomizer kit. I'm trying to figure out what carts will work with it. If I want dual coil carts I should get 1.5-1.7 Ohm? One more dumb question. Does it matter if I use the charger on a USB 2.0 port (500mAh), or a USB 3.0 (blue 1000mAH) port?
I'm looking at getting a few of these stainless 1.5 ohm ego mega dual coil short cartomizers. Do you think they will work ok. Is there something better? It won't let me link to things which sux.. I have like no e-cig places local so I need to figure out what I'm doing and get spares before I start.

Thank you for any help. I haven't tried it yet, still have 2 packs of cigs left and drinking. But tomorrow I start...

Welcome to the forum.
First off... I would not charge any thing off of the computer. Get yourself a usb wall charger. higher 2.1 amp chargers are better.

Second... as follows.

Ego batteries (2) with 2 EVod tops..... Is good.
itaste VV v3 (2) with 2 Evods tops ..... Is better.
itaste MVP V2 or VAMO with either of the above batteries for back up and 2 EVODs. Best.

Now.... There are better set ups out there but you will need time and experience to use them. Eg: Mech mods, Kayfun ETC.....

What I have learned for my vaping is that 2 back up is better than 1 back up. No back up is no way!!

Also, as was mentioned, it is not advisable to charge directly from your computer. It may work just fine and not give you any issues but, are you willing to risk frying your computer if that Chinese made battery decides to short while it's plugged in?

Congrats Old geezer and welcome to the ecf forum. Im sure you'll find all the help and advice to get you going here in short order. Unfortunately Im not familliar with your rig. Ive had an itaste mvp vv which stands for variable voltage. Its a 2600 mha battery box some call mods. I dont get all the lingo but will give ya what I got. The blue 1000 mah may cause an explosion or fire, it could ruin the battery. Some are self protected internally. Stock up on small bottles of juice till you can narrow down your preference and never run dry. You dont want to be tempted to pick up an analog! I like MYVAPORSTORE smooth tobacco in 12mg nic. It hits a little harder than my light non menthol smogs did. I dont have a local store either so make sure your well stocked up on juices and batteries. Your should get around 3-400 puffs between charges. About a pack a day smoker can use this type part of the day. Keep a few charged spares with you cause you never kno when it will die on you. Ive seen a few complains on clearomisers, leaking mostly. I use an all metal vm nova. It holds about 3ml of liquid and the coils and wicks never burn up. I dont mix my own jiuces and dont mind dropping it in the tank. Its a good time to clean out the tank, wick and coil. I just use a couple q tips to soak up the browned juices. Ive owned my mvp & nova tank 3 yrs and still have 2 of 3 wicks and a spare coil that all came with it for $100 back then. Now there under $50. Good luck
