personally, i think you didn't fill it enough..those things are a pain to fill the first time, they take up to 4ml of juice, the best advice i can give is to go slow, drip by drip, making sure everything is absorbed into the polyfill, don't get any in the center tube, when the carto is full, any more juice added will drip out of the bottom, regardless if you got it in the tube or not, which is why it's twice as imperitive you don't get it in the tube as normal.

What voltage do you have the Twist at IJ? A 1.2 ohms atty also sounds very low to me. Elmattias-what do you think? My personal preference on the Twist is @ 2.4 ohms and even a 3.2 setting volts-wise for flavor. Before you set up your next one, take a tissue, cover both ends and blow out the mouthpiece to get rid of any industrial moisture in them before filling. Then after you fill per above, maybe leave it for 4-5 minutes to really soak in. Hope that helps.

Ok, lets start by turning your twist down to 3.2 volts.
Tell me how you filled your cartomizer (cart = cartomizer) and if you gave the juice time to absorb thoroughly into the cart.
Put the burnt cart aside and be prepared to call that one history. Need to fill that cart slowly and let the filling get moist from top to bottom. Many people liken the top of the full cart to a Slurpy. Let it absorb for about 5-10 minutes.
If you look through from the top of a cart you should be able to see light at the end of the cart. If not you may have over filled the cart. Just place a paper towel at the end of the card and blow the excess juice out until you can see through the cart.
Replace cart on your twist and draw very lightly. You will work up to the draw that brings a taste. Then you can up the voltage until you are getting the experience you want without that burnt taste.
Hope this helps.

Let me know!!!

I have used those mega dual coil cartos before. First you have to take your time and make sure they are full of juice to the point where juice starts dripping from the bottom. Not a lot though. Thats what I usually do. Then wait about 5 minutes and drop a few more drops in just to make sure the carto is saturated. It's not uncommon to wait 15 or more minutes before using new cartos. It's very important for the carto to get saturated with juice when filling for the first time. Good Luck.

umm guys you guys forget that's a dual coil...it can handle 4.8 volts easy.....however, the twist's amp limitation will actually regulate voltage on that carto way before he hits the max, probably closer to 3.7-4 volts.....

as for the guy calling vivi nova: the vivi is not a beginner level device. it is meant to be rebuilt, and is a great intro into the world of rebuildables, but i never recommend them to noobs because they are actually more expensive to maintain than a carto if you don't want to rebuild them or do not have the knowledge to do so.....also you say "plenty of vapor" but i'd be hard pressed to find a nova that can outproduce a good cartomizer any day that just so happens to end in Y.

Thanks El M - that's why I deferred to you on that one.

You can put a wooden tooth pic into the air hole to block any liquid getting in the hole. :thumb:

see kids? even guys like me that've been around for a bit now still learn new stuff everyday. lol
