Ya I had $50k into that car ???? WTH was I thinking except we used it as a tax write off , at that time I needed a tax shelter of some sort so I raced the Gov $$Yea, I usually see FWD drive cars as drift cars these days. RWD is more predictable. I can imagine the dollars that went into that car. I remember looking at Advan and Kosei wheels and they were big bucks.
Mike. Didn't know you were into racing. I live about two miles due west of Michigan International Speedway. On NASCAR weekends every road that leads to our house is barricaded off for traffic control. Can't get in or out on Sunday night.
This is a pretty small town and more than 300,000 people flock here for those races.
Wow! That is so cool Mike. I like race cars. Never got to race cars but I used to race karts.Cool !! do you ever go to them ? I dont like big tracks small ones are better more crashes LOL !

My BIL and his uncle did dirt track for years (I know, we are so red-neck) -- so much fun drinking beer and waiting for a good crash! At least for us on-lookers. Probably not so much for the drivers, LOL.
No, Mist, not until today. What a fun sound! Definitely hear some B52s there and "Dirt Track Date" did bring back a few memories, lol. Thanks for sharing -- its good stuffHey Pokey, have you ever heard the song "Dirt Track Date" by Southern Culture On The Skids(SCOTS)? If not you should look it up. You might get a kick out of it. They're like a redneck version of the B-52s. I love 'em.
