Ya it was a 95-96 Acura Integra Type R , it was a ..... to drive ! I am much more of a read wheel drive guy , I never really ogt the hang of front wheel drive. The wheels were a super light weight aluminum alloy and they were $$$$
Mike. Didn't know you were into racing. I live about two miles due west of Michigan International Speedway. On NASCAR weekends every road that leads to our house is barricaded off for traffic control. Can't get in or out on Sunday night.

Ya I had $50k into that car ???? WTH was I thinking except we used it as a tax write off , at that time I needed a tax shelter of some sort so I raced the Gov $$

Actually, I used to leave town on race weekends but the last couple years I've stuck around. It's not that bad really. Sunday afternoon on race day is the best time to go shopping. Everyone's either at the track or home watching the race. You get the place to yourself.

Not big on crowds. There's a reason I live out here. This place is real quiet 50 weeks out of the year. There's also a bunch of small lakes to trailer the boat to and the neighbors are real friendly. All six of 'em.

Wow! That is so cool Mike. I like race cars. Never got to race cars but I used to race karts.
I do agree, small tracks are better. More turns and twisties measure the driver's skill.

Hey Pokey, have you ever heard the song "Dirt Track Date" by Southern Culture On The Skids(SCOTS)? If not you should look it up. You might get a kick out of it. They're like a redneck version of the B-52s. I love 'em.
I used to sponser a car and they had the sponsors race one day so I got in. Let me tell you it's allot easier driving from the stands than it is in the seat. When I got to the corner I just couldn't keep my foot from moving to the brake.
