Tasty vapor has confirmed the recipe was changed to include some maple syrup flavor. However, they also confirmed that it seems like Capella has diluted their waffle flavor as the flavor is not as strong as it used to be.

My first order of waffle was the best juice that I have ever had. It was light in color. I have a bottle of the dark waffle, and not really liking this near as well. It doesn't taste bad, but nothing like the first batch. If you were spoiled by the first batch, you will definitely be disappointed with the new darker liquid.

I will be ordering "The old waffle" on my next purchase. The old waffle was definitely more buttery, but the new one seems to have less flavor, but in all fairness, the new one is not steeped 30 days, and I allowed the old one to do that, since it has very little flavor when it first arrives, at least that is what I thought.

I am so glad I can order the old waffle.

Ya I would except that they would offer a poll kind of like the atomic fireball, but I think part of it is the capella flavorings they have been getting are weaker than they were before. I they capella is diluting their waffle or something. I'm not sure why Geoff decided to add the syrup flavor though. I have not heard of 1 person who likes the new waffle better than the old. They should just change it back.

I seem to remember reading he swapped from using Capella's to using TPA for waffle. ( and a few other flavors)
I have a new bottle of waffle directly from Capella's and it's definitely not weaker, same as it's always been.

When I called them they said they are still using capella's for waffle. They also said they use some other flavors.
