So I recently traded for an old style 901 top cap for my buzz in hope that 808 cartos would work. No dice. I am wondering if I somehow slotted the connector if it would then work or would I just be ruining it? I see in the pics on the site that the 901-808 caps now have a slot cut through the threads. Wondering if I could pull this off. Also if anyone thinks they could do it for me I'd be much appreciative as I don't have a hack saw or anything similar and prolly wouldn't be the best person for the job anyway. Any info is appreciated thanx.

You have to have the slots for the 808's to work due to airflow. They do make 901-808 adapters that solve the airflow issue if you want to go that route. If I were you I would try to get the slots cut though so I wouldn't have to mess with an adapter. Maybe if you sent it to NotCigs they would cut it for you??

We cut the slot using a dremel tool with a cutoff wheel. We have 808 top caps in stock as well .

Yeah just got back to your pm. If I had the $15 to spare I woulda already bought one. Just trying to make this one work cuz I got lucky and got it in a trade. Thanx though.
