The newer Janty Mega Attys work awesome on the SB @ 6V been using them for a couple months now and really like this set up, the mega carto's however seem to burn up and once they get even a little bit bunt they are shot, so stick with the Mega Atty's and all is super, with a Mega hit and vape

my omega set up with aw18650 high drains and 2.0 lr cartos or attys loving it !
A 2Ω atty/carto will pull about 2A, which should present no problems with an 18650.

Look at this drain test:

Compare the standard AW Li-ion (black line) to the AW IMR (green line).

Except for the first few minutes the standard AW maintains a higher voltage across the test and lasts 60% longer than the IMR.

Thanks for posting this. I really need to pick up a couple of AW 18650 batts now.

Would there be any problems using an AW in the Omega because of the strange positive terminal?

Not too much of an issue, unless the contact is recessed below the shrink wrap, nothing a magnetic spacer won't fix :)
Yea it kinda is (the 2200mAh's have a protruding button).

FWIW for those on a budget (they can be found quite cheaply) these are the best bet.

They can easily provide 2.5A at a true 2400mAh.

I may have to give those Trustfire batts a shot. I had really good luck with my 3xAA 14500 box mod with two trustfire 14500 batts in parallel. It saw around 3.7v under load for the majority of the life of the batterys. I have no way of checking how my 3000mah Ultrafires perform under load but they don't seem to put out like the box mod did. It lasts longer than the 14500s but it feels like the voltage isn't the same.

The flashlight fanatics have nothing good to say about the high resistance, red 3000mAh UF's, especially at high amp loads..

They really seem to like the red/black flame Trustfires. Yes the AW's are fine batteries, but you get almost 3 of TF's for the price of one AW.
