The guy that was testing this Kanger T2 brought it to my dealer broken. My guess is that used to using a Stardust, he pulled. To me it's a first!!!!

The top of the metal ring is grooved so that the tube can set inside it.
The only thing holding the 2 together is glue.
I dropped one of mine and landed at a angle on the tip and came off.

I scraped off what little glue was left and snapped it back on but haven't glued it yet.

Must have been a hard hit, I'll be more careful. Nevertheless, too much force!
 
Yes, my battery was attached when I dropped it. Still it's something to watch out for.
Also, make sure that the coil is screwed down tight every time you open it to fill. If it's loose and you tighten the tip, it would put stress on that joint also.
Something to think about.

Must have been a hard hit, I'll be more careful. Nevertheless, too much force!
