LOL...join the club...it gets no better...your non-
vaping spouse (or significant other) will not get it...will not understand it and will accuse you of going from a nasty addiction to a full blown obsession...and probably rightly so.
Look...like I told my wife..I didn't do this (quit smoking) for you...I did it for me. I am WAY prouder (is that even a real word?) of me than she is.of me. I really can't believe that I really gave up my hand rolled Drummies...but I did, and for that I am giving myself a great big high five/pat on the back. Yes I am still spending $$, but I am spending about half of what I use to (and I smoked on the cheap by rolling my own) and it is something that I enjoy..as opposed to my normal routine of getting up..going to work...coming home...mowing the yard..taking the trash out...domestic hell...domestic hell....domestic hell...
I can't stay away from this site either because I am completely blown away by the genuine caring...the helpful attitudes and the all around warm fuzzy feeling I get when I come here. I belong to maybe a dozen or so forums (sports.and whatnot ) and can say without a doubt that this place is filled with some of the best people on the planet. One site (sports) that I like to frequent everyday can't go 5 minutes without some name calling or other low brow BS.....but in the 9 months or so that I have been a part of this community I have never witnessed anything but helpfulness, caring, compassion and a true desire to to unite against a terrible addiction that kills tens of thousands every year.
There are worse things that you could be doing to occupy your time...and if hubby doesn't get it...well tough s**t...it's your life and I applaud you for taking that major step to becoming smoke free.
Vape on and DAMN THE TORPEDOS....(I'm sure that really doesn't apply/belong here, but I have really just been looking for a situation to use that phrase...doesn't come up often....definately not during a traffic stop...trust me)
