Have you got the embedded computer to do anything useful yet??

I got a Saitek slimline illuminated model, she does good and was £15! Illuminates in blue and the best bit it illuminates red! Other than that no fancy features which is good if I want to eat some chicken at it!!!!!

I have the same g15 and a saitek cyborg both were a waste of money imo i never use any of the functions. But i did get the g15 screen to work and show who is talking on ventrillo when i am on only problem is i run 2 monitors so i can just look left 1foot instead of looking down 2 feet

Thats really useful data for overclockers!!! Tho it still seems a waste of the built in computer, I hear its not even that useful for us flight simmers If its screen was a bit bigger it could display instruments/radios and such! Lets hope the next version of the keyboard features a bigger and maybe a touch screen!!

The one I got the generic sounding Saitek K140 or something like that illuminated keyboard after seeing bad reviews for the Cyborg series, I also have the Saitek AV8R joystick which is a nice gimmick hehehehe!

Would love to replace the joystick with a yoke and get OpenCockpits modules to make it more realistic though!

I have the Merc Stealth keyboard for gaming and love it. I thought of getting the G15, but didn't like the color it lit up, I set mine on purple so it doesn't hurt my eyes. There's a program called Vent Display that floats a bar over the game to tell who's speaking and you don't have to look away from the screen at all. Of course now I have the urge to clean my keyboard, tho it stays much cleaner now that there aren't ashes floating around my desk.

PS-- the Razar Naga mouse was probably the best investment I've made for playing MMOs. It's amazing how much faster I can fight now.

That looks like a nice keyboard and I'm very impressed with the mouse!! Am I right in thinking the arrow keys and page up/down keys have now moved to the left allowing both hands to use the number pad and those keys at the same time!? Is the purple illumination nice and bright? I keep mine blue in the day to let the keys stand out and by night switch to red for less distracting flight simming in a dark sky! If anyone has tried green is that a good colour?

I have an Aerocool cube shaped black case which has an illuminated red display and it matches the keyboard perfect! She also folds into 2 allowing great access to the motherboard!! My next plan is to fit a quieter power supply to make the flight sim in the dark effect even better but I made every wire neat, straight only bending at 90 degrees, I don't want to ruin it by ripping out the power supply hehehe

A guy at work once used my keyboard for all of maybe 20 keystrokes. Next day I had the NASTIEST case of pink-eye you could imagine. I woke up with my eye stuck shut and once pried open, my eye was GLOWING red. I come into work the next day (had no choice, due to a project) and everybody says "oh now you have pink-eye, too? <guy who used my keyboard> just got over a case of pink-eye!" And I'm like, "NOW YOU TELL ME?!"

Needless to say, after that nobody touches my damn keyboard! And if I'm forced to touch someone else's, I consciously try to not touch my face until I've had a chance to wash my hands. Keyboards are incredibly nasty things, even when there isn't any visible debris. Dirty fingers constantly touching them, and all manner of awful offal (heh) falling between the keys to form a putrid biomass of horror!

Be AFRAID!!! (Seriously, I'm not even a germaphobe at all!)

As for mice for MMO's the naga looks to bulky my MX518 is perfect along with a every key on the left side of the keyboard bound.

When I was heavy online gaming...had Teamspeak running on it...and it also displayed ammo/health...and have 25 key strokes mapped for the M keys on the left (mostly V-Says for in game conversations, like 'Need a medic'...which I pressed alot) and it was nice when WMP was playing it would display on the LCD.

but I have wore out the W A S D keys (can't read them anymore) LOL

keyboards can be truly nasty things...

That looks like rolling tobacco within that keyboard, my keyboards of days gone by could be seen in a similar state to that black one! Show us more pictures of the abused keyboards!!

I do believe so. I never saw this one first hand...a buddy of mine was talking about some keyboards (he works IT for a school district, and I know how nasty those things are) and pointed this one out to me.
