OMG! Riva 901

Ok, so I just got my 901 kit from Liberty Flights, and it's AMAZING! Nice, big vapor right out of the box. I couldn't be more happy at this point! I started with 18mg clove. The taste isn't quite the clove of 'clove cigarettes', but it's not bad. Even makes me cough a little, which is what cloves do

So, are the atty threads for the 901 the same as the 510 or the eGo's? I already have a feeling that these small carts are just not going to last very long

Hi and welcome. And no the 901 are not the same as 510's. You could however get an adapter for the 901 so you can use the 510 cartos, etc. On adapters they always list the battery first. So that means you would need to get an adapter that says it is for 901/510.

901 and 510 have different threading but you can buy adapters if you just want to switch from one to another. If you have e-liquid you can just top-up those carts til they are 'wet' and off you vape again.

Thanks Just seeing what my options are for now. About the only thing I'm 'disappointed' in: I ordered platinum, and got a goldish color. Platinum is supposed to be silverish!

I have the Riva 901's from LF. Love 'em.

You can use kr808 cartomizers without adapters as the LF Riva's have vent slots on the sides. The only 808 cartos that I've had to coax on, (twist, untwist, twist again harder, repeat..) are the Cool Carts from V4L. All my other 808 cartos fit fine from the start. LF carries Boge kr808's which are really nice. Out of stock at the moment though.

Actually, no. They call sliverish batteries stainless. Don't know why. And titanium are also goldish.

Bah, hate gold! Oh well. It's not enough to deter me from doing this. Seems a touch harsh though. I'm waiting a half second before pulling, going slow on the pull, releasing the button before pull is done. Perhaps it's just the clove?

It is probably just the clove. Did you get any other ejuice? If not order something different.

ps also it may take a few hours for the atty to get to rocking. Just make sure to keep it wet an don't let it dry out. That could cause the harshness also.

It's wet alright I'm checking it every 10 or so pulls. Yep, I'm a newbie. I do think 18mg nic is too much. Glad I got some 14 to go with it. I got 5 flavors to try, so I have a variety. Just dropped some vanilla in it. Will see what happens.

Yes, I'm jumping into the deep end already...

I've seen some skins available. Check out the cosmetic mods section of the board. Someone used the shrink wrap tubing from Walmart and posted pics of his. It looks great.
