My brother was kind enough to help me out, and bought me a Riva 510! I'm soooo excited, since it arrived today and can't wait to try it out!

I'm currently charging the batteries and trying to remember what to do about the primer in the attys.

I can't wait to try this bad boy out!!!

My brother also bought one for himself, to try out. And, the crossing guard at my son's school gave all the info I gave her, to her mother in law, and from what I've heard, she's bought an ecig, too.

I too have a Riva 510, and absolutely love it. I have had no problems, lots of good vapor, taste, TH, everything. You'll really enjoy it!

Maybe someone with a broad base knowledge of this product will review the "primer" issue with the attys. I sure would like a recap of the process.

*I believe the priming they are talking about is dropping 3-4 drops into the atty, and letting it "soak" for about 5 minutes before using.

On a brand new atty take the cap off and blow hard through the atty onto a tissue until no liquid comes out. It'll take a few times usually. Then screw it onto a battery and drip 3 drops of juice onto the bridge, 5 drops if you're going straight to a drip tip. Put the drip tip or a filled cartridge in place. Take about 5 hits without inhaling, then try a small hit cautiously. If it tastes bearable vape away, if not take a few more hits without inhaling and try again. New atty's can take from 1/2 and hour to a day to break in. During that time they don't quite taste right and don't produce as much vapor as you'd expect.

I hope that answers your question.

Thanks CS Kent.. I wasn't very knowledgeable on this. Very helpful.

judging by your avatar pic , your to young to vape...lol...j/k

To be honest, it's a picture of my 7 year old. The caption at the bottom says "The reason I am quitting smoking". Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to matter how I resize it, it never gets any bigger (like some other's avatars). For the record, I don't take pictures of myself (I don't like how I look).

I don't think anyone actually follows the 8 hour rule. We all just put one on the charger and vape the other until it quits, then switch them.

I just followed the instructions and did what they told me to do. I took care of the atty, too, even though nothing came out when I blew on it. I used it for 20 minutes and now it's back on the charger. Since doing technical support for cell phones (smartphones, especially), I am used to following directions when going to use anything for the first time. You never know if you're going to mess something up.
