One good thing is the news is being picked up and reported on this side of the pond. Reuters, AP, The Los Angeles Times, Fox News, and the Wall Street Journal has all published articles citing the UK study. The funny thing is this study came out at the same time that the American Heart Association is pushing a Journal of the American Medical Association article that cites a study done by USC that cites that e-cigs are a gateway drug and totally contradicts it. The Los Angeles Times articles even points out the flaws in the USC study such as that it shows a link between e-cig use and smoking, but doesn't identify the cause, and that it can't distinguish between students who just tried smoking versus students who continued to smoke.
