One good thing is the news is being picked up and reported on this side of the pond. Reuters, AP, The Los Angeles Times, Fox News, and the Wall Street Journal has all published articles citing the UK study. The funny thing is this study came out at the same time that the American Heart Association is pushing a Journal of the American Medical Association article that cites a study done by USC that cites that e-cigs are a gateway drug and totally contradicts it. The Los Angeles Times articles even points out the flaws in the USC study such as that it shows a link between e-cig use and smoking, but doesn't identify the cause, and that it can't distinguish between students who just tried smoking versus students who continued to smoke.

Call me negative, but anything related to vaping in the media that seems positive is just a precursor for another round of restrictive and unfair legislation.

Yea, News - AGAIN tonight - Study shows E-cig use in teens leads to Cigarette Smoking:facepalm:
Study shows?
What Study?
By Who?
Tell me the Source and let me decide if they are full of it or not.:-x

It will be interesting to here what the WHO has to say about this, if anything.

WHO is Behind all of it.

Vaping has grown to big to successfully attempt to outright Ban. Next option, approve and take control.

Read up of the WHO hearings in Moscow 2015.
That hand full of Egotist think they can........maybe they really can........Control governments.

Ya Bud, they are about as useful to the human race as the UN and the IAEA.

There will always be stupid people getting hooked on nicotine by trying out the novelty of E-cigs and eventually finding it less labour intensive to just smoke.

The whole advertising thing needs to be brought into line - its still addictive nicotine, so if you don't smoke - don't do it.
