Is it brass or aluminum?
If it is aluminum it should just press on. The brass covers come with a string. Lay the string over the button and press the cover on over the string. Trim off the extra string. Make sure in either case that the button is turned to the locked position before you press on the cover.

BTW - you don't want to use glue, because you may want to get the cover off to reset it at some future time. An example is lazy Trunker that never cleans his mod and just presses harder and harder on the button cover, until eventually the firing pin does not touch the battery!! mod needs a good clean and file of the firing pin.

Clean the damn mod Trunker! Like that ^

Replace button cover so the newly clean mod fires just right again...Lock it - prise the cover off and get a bit of string....

I just went through this yesterday.

I received my new neon yellow from Rob along with a black delrin button. I locked the switch and pressed on the button and unlike my aluminum buttons before it the delrin just bottomed out. I thought I broke the lock, but not the case. I got on the horn with Rob to begin a chewing sesh and he explained to me that I must have gotten an old version button in that it was drilled much deeper than the current generation. He also explained to me that the problem can be rectified with a small (1/8th-3/16th inch) length of tygon (squonk tube) that acts as a spacer. It took me two tries (1st one too short) and I was up and vaping.

good luck.

Hey, I saw a yellow Grand for sale yesterday on the site,. Does that look like your color? You'll have to post a picture of that beauty. Looks like a nice safety yellow. You shouldn't have any issues crossing the street holding it out front! Looks nice!

image.jpg this isn't mustard yellow..
This pic doesn't capture the sheer brightness of the yellow, look how dull the Kawasaki green looks next to it. The KG is very bright, this one is off the charts.
