WAIT!!!

Place your magnet on the opposing magnet....then take a sharpie and put a dot on the side that is facing you. When you are ready to seat your magnet in the glue, make sure the dot side goes against the metal, not facing out. You will kick yourself for putting it in backwards. Trust me...it's been done many times before.

I didn't even notice where you are from. I live in Medicine Hat. Did you make out ok with the flooding, work/ live away from downtown etc? And crazy weather this year, I don't think I have ever seen the prairies this green at the end of July.

Thankfully we were fine both at home and work.

My wife actually just spent the weekend down there for the annual chili and salsa festival. Was the first year in the last four I've been unable to attend :( Did you make it out for it?

And thanks for the reminder Rhapsodies Fire. I completely forgot about that part :)

I didn't this year, I went to the Air Show in Lethbridge. It was good but the CF-18 was having problems on Saturday and couldn't fly.

Great tip, RF! I would have never thought of this. It's this kind of friendly and helpful stuff that makes me proud to be a member of the reo sub forum and a reonaut. Also want to give a shout out to Rob for his great customer service over the phone the other day and for the ultra fast shipping. WOW!

Oh, SOOOOOO many of us have glued one in backwards!! And it's absolutely impossible to fix it!!! Good catch, Lisa.

It is more fixable with anodized as they can be soaked in acetone. Some pop out more easily than others. DO NOT SOAK POWDER COATED IN ACETONE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, if replacing a magnet be sure to get out all old glue or they won't sit flush in hole. Been there; done that.

WAIT SOME MORE!!!!!!

if you are gluing in more than one magnet. like a matching pair. and you like to switch doors. be sure to not only set up the pair of magnets to each other, but also to the corresponding magnet on the mod you swap with. Take one magnet, call it the new door magnet, put it on the swap-mod as though it were in the door. mark the outside. Then take it's partner, put them together with the mark still outside and mark the partner on its outside, yada yada yada
