Hello!

I'm hoping you guys can possibly help me out.
When I quit ciggs and switched to vaping, I lucked out by trying out HHV very early on and I found my perfect vape juice, Dark Horse, and stuck with it. I stocked up with as much as I could when they announced their closing, and i'm now halfway done with my last bottle and trying to find something that is comparable. I know I likely will never find a replicate of the flavor, but something close will do! I still use my joyetech Eroll Mac (I really like cig-a-like models, which are almost non existent now too so I'm likely going to have to figure out a new setup as well.) and find that the few new juices I've tried have totally just eaten through my carts.
I've tried Blacknotes Virginia and Cavendish. I think I need to let them steep a little longer cause initially they were both really not it for me, but Virginia has already started to mellow out, and I've started mixing it with Dark Horse to maybe acclimate to the flavor a bit, but like I said, it ruins my carts within a day of doing that. Possibly faulty carts as well since thats pretty common for the Eroll. But it lacks that little bit of like...spicey sweet (??) that Dark Horse has.
I also tried Cuttwood Tobacco Trail and its waay too sweet for me.

Would anyone have any recommendations? I don't remember what it said on the HHV website other than Dark Horse was a cigarette and pipe tobacco blend. I wish I had contacted them before they closed up to at least ask what the flavor notes were cause I really have no idea what the specific taste is, I just know it's delicious and perfect haha.

Thanks so much in advance for any help or recs you guys can give me!

Not much help, but...

"Dark Horse is an extracted tobacco that contains both cigarette and pipe tobacco qualities. Slightly punchy, grassy, earthy and flavorful with just the right hint of spice. This flavor is part of our Purity line. All flavor ingredients in our Purity line are propylene glycol (PG) free which is why we can offer this particular vape in your favorite PG/VG ratio including 100% organic VG if desired."

There are 2 DIY recipes on ELR that are called "Dark Horse" but not sure if they are supposed to be clones of HHV's Dark Horse or not.

I always liked Candied Cavendish by The Plume Room and I think they are still up and running. You are probably looking for a NET (naturally extracted tobacco) hard to find these days
Thank you for the rec! Unfortunately they no longer ship to my state :/
Yeah NETs aren't easy to find. I'd be fine with a regular juice if it had the same-ish flavor. But I think it being a NET is part of where it gets that little extra kick.

Thank you! I'm gonna keep that site in mind and check in on it every so often to see if something pops up. They dont seem like theyre clones of the HHV one, they all seem on the sweeter side.
Thanks for getting the original website description, too. I'm gonna try and search for earthy/spicey stuff and hopefully find something.
