Mail ran late today. I tend to work late and it's usually here when I get home. Particularly frustrating as I'm awaiting a piece of regestered mail from AU (PV related).. Like a dog hears a squirrel, I heard that truck, and was outside waiting for it with naive anticipation. Nope, no three week late expected package. Just envelopes.
One was from my mortgage company, specifically from the "Release Dept". What's up with that?
Enclosed was the deed and mortgage agreement I signed 15 years ago, stamped "Paid in Full". It was a 30 year mortgage, to which I simply added a few hundred every month (compound interest for the win).
Only thing I own anyone now is what I spent on AMEX since the last billing cycle.
$30k in credit card debt, car payment, and mortgage 5 years ago to $0.00 owed.
