So I've hit pretty much a month since tossing the smokes and switching to a pv. It's all been great. I do find pvs fill much of the analog gap, especially compared to other nrt. I was out just now letting my dog out for her last pitstop of the night. I go out of it's late as I live pretty rural and lots of wildlife. I hung out in my usual spot listening to all the evening sounds. Nice quite night. I've always enjoyed a late night puff when at the cottage, camping or whatever.
Despite having to turn my ego with the button on the bottom, it was blinding me and likely deer. It was very similar and in many ways better! I felt as satisfied as when doing that same thing with an analog.
The whole pv world rocks!
