So I've been vaping, analog free, for one month. I'm HOPING my issues will pass, any input is appreciated!

Completely lost my voice for one night
Constant stuffiness/runny nose
Sore throat
Coughing up solid crap, some of it is not even coated in mucus..it's really gross LOL
Heavy/painful chest

I've tried PG, PG/VG, VG. Am I just expelling 13 years of toxins? I hope so.

You should give your doctor a buzz.

I had the same thing, started 2 weeks ago, and just got over it 2 days ago. I thought about going to the doctor but did not.(probably should have just in case) Anyway, I also believe that tthe body is trying to clean your lungs from all the tar. Sorry you are not feeling good, but I will tell you now that it is gone I have not been able to breath nearly as good as I am now since I started smoking 11-12 years ago. I am 25 and been vaping for a month, so we might be in the same boat. Hope you feel better soon. GL and Welcome!!

Sounds more like a flu or cold rather than anything related to vaping.

Medical professional for sure if you are concerned...

I didn't experience these problems with PV's.

However, I switched back to analogs for about two weeks...now I'm wheezng, stuffy nose, and all my other horrid problems from tobacco came back to haunt me.

Most of the symptoms ppl mention are a result of quitting tobacco. Your body is no longer taking in hot smoke. Seeing a doc is always advised. But these symptoms are common among ppl who quit smoking altogethe (not converting to pv's).

IMO...the analogs give me symptoms immedietly!

Although only a doctor can really provide any meaningful feedback or a diagnosis as to what your symptoms would indicate, I suspect either you have had an allergic reaction to PG (not uncommon) or you have a really bad cold or bronchitis or something.

My vaping experience has not led to any really negative reactions, although I do get a slightly irritated throat when I vape for too long.

Last weekend and this weekend I relapsed into analog smoking, due to some stress and excess free time. The e-cigs just weren't "scratching that itch" so to speak. And although I smoked, I still kept it under a pack a day, and only on Friday-Sunday. And BOTH weekends ended with me feeling pretty sure I had the beginnings of a serious cold. And my throat kept feeling like it was closing up.

But last week, by late Monday afternoon, and a day of only vaping and no analogs, the symptoms went away. I felt fine.

Smoking analogs, for me, leads to nasty side effects now (but never did before - odd.) I somehow doubt, however, that your symptoms have anything to do with your body cleansing itself of old cigarette toxins. I tend to think that your lungs clear up more slowly and less dramatically. I quit smoking a few times, and although I failed to stay quit, my longest stretch was 18 months of no smoking. During that time, my lungs felt clearer, but I never coughed up much crap or anything. Maybe it's different for different people.

Anyway, sorry for the looooong post. Whatever is going on with you, I hope you feel better soon. Feeling sick, whether it's due to germs, smoke, or vapor, especially during the holidays, sucks super bad.

My first recommendation with this is always go and see your doctor. Especially if the spudum ( the crud you are coughing up) is dark brown or black. This is indication of bloody tissue in the lungs or excessive swelling of the lungs. From the sound of this, I would say that you are simply going through the classic withdraw symptoms of quitting analogs. Remeber, you are replacing your nicotine but your body is still going through withdraws from the hundreds of substances that it has become addicted to.
Especially if this is your first or even second time around trying to quit. When I quit for a few months going through boot camp in the military... My withdraw symptoms actually put me in the hospital because my chest was so tight, I was cough up all kinds of crap, my lungs were burning like crazy, soar throat, constant head rushes and headaches, I was sweating profusely while sleeping ( doc said that all the biproducts from the chemical receptors in my body that were programmed to urge my craving for nicotine were being exspelled from my body through perspiration.), after a few days my chest felt so heavy like an elephant was sitting on it and I swear quite a few times I was about to have a heart attack, stuffed up sinuses, and upper GI infection. I was so scared for the first four or five days that this came on because I thought that I was going to have a major heart attack but it all subsided after about a week and a half... and I started regaining all my strength in breathing and feeling really good.
I didn't want to scare you here but the thing is your body is going to go through changes and those symptoms are the aftermath of your body cleansing itself from the left over toxins that are not being replenished as well as the byproducts of those toxins that have been processed by your body.
If your spudum starts coming out dark brown or black .. I would definately get to your doctor asap... If it is just a greenish color.. that means you most likely have a light upper GI infection that deals with your sinuses being inflamed from the process of withdrawal. In any case, It would not hurt to bring a few samples to the doc so that it won't be hard to replicate the same at the docs office. This will tell him exactly what is going on just in case you get to his office and can not get any to come up.
Sorry for the long post here.. but I felt that this would settle your nerve a little and give you some good insight on what you can expect from your withdrawals. This is always different for everyone and people that have really good immunity systems, usually have the worst time because the body for most flushes itself little by little.. but individuals with high immunities usually flush at an escalated rate.

Anyway, thats my $0.02 worth, take it for what it is worth.

I am analog-free for 7 months and nic-free for 5 months.
During the end of 1st month, I had the same problems as you mentioned above and even worst. Was bed-ridden for 5 days. But I become healthier after recovered. Smell and breathing restored back to the state that I was during twenty years ago ( when I was 18) - the time that before I start smoking.

During the end of 2nd month, I was sicked and bed-ridden 4/5 days again, same symptoms but this time less serious than the last. After recovery, I became stronger and healthier than before, I quitted nicotine and there onwards vaped only once 3/4 days.

7 months later, here is how I feel:
- My skin, teeth, lips, nails and hair look much much more healthier.
- My appetite, smell and taste is restored. I can smell analog - one mile away!
- My breathing and lung-capacity is much much clearer - My asthma is gone!
- My room, car and tables had no more rotten-butts smell.
- I was amazed when looking back on how I had picked up analog-smoking when I was 18? As now I could clearly smell that analog is so disgusting.

I had overcome nicotine. What I do "missed" sometimes is the HTM (hand-to-mouth) action over coffee which this had been "replaced" by e-cig for 7 months.
