Allergy Symptoms with VG?

I'll admit to not reading all the replies, this is just my reply to the OP.

I can't vape pure VG at all. It makes my throat swell shut, my heart races, I feel faint, generally I am pretty sure that at that concentration, I may be allergic. I've tried 100% VG from several sources in different flavors so on and so forth, I can't do it.

In smaller concentrations, 20% max, I can handle it.

So yeah, VG may not be for you.

Somewhere
I, as a three month old vapor have to provide my own experience into this.

In my first months of vaping I used one supplier, Dekang liquid, all PG. I didn't have any problems with vaping this at all, no coughing, no reactions of any sort. In fact, I was looking forward to coughing up all that tar that built up over the years, but nothing like that happened.

When I ran out of eliquid I had to "bum" some from a neighbor as I live in another country and wont' be back to get my order until Christmas. I bummed liquid that was from two new suppliers, and one was VG, the other was PG. I smoked the VG for a day as I really liked the taste. However, on the second day of smoking this I broke out in terrible hives. I have come to believe (as this is my second day off of the VG and first day (night) of not having hives) that the VG liquid is the culprit.

It could be the supplier change, but I am thinking it is the VG, as no hives tonight (yippee!!!). They were not fun, itched like hell and provided a few nights of restless sleep.

Anyway just wanted to share in case any one else googles as I did to find out if that was the culprit, in my case I believe it was.
