I am so delighted to be one month off analogs, and one month of enjoying my new Vapor King!

Vapor 4 Life is the best company I've ever done business with, and I'm planning a long loyal relationship with them. Thanks so much to Steve, Mark, and the crew at V4L!

I'm feeling pretty good all the way around, enjoying lots of benefits of being smoke free at long last. I know I'm not unique but this is very unique for me, I'm a very lousy quitter with the best attempts I've ever made so this is a miracle!

P.S. New order rocked, thanks for the goodies! Oh and you guys gotta try the Parliament if you haven't yet, yes just a touch of sweet but very rich and delish...mmmm.:p

vape on!:D

Well, I got my VK kit today so of course I have a few questions right away.

Should I charge the batteries for the eight hours even though the LED light comes on? I have read different things and don't really remember if I should or not. Can they be overcharged? Can I use an extension cord as the the cord on the charger is a wee bit smaller than I thought it would be.

I didn't see any instructions about charging the PCC unit. How long should that be charged, how will I know it is done charging and how long will it last?

Also, is it common for the carrying case to pop open really easy? Mine hardly stays closed. Thank you.

I didn't charge my batteries before use. As you noticed, they were already charged. They are both still working great.

The PCC has two LEDs. The one closest to the hinge is red when charging, green when done.

The bottom LED will be red when charging a battery and will go off when done. It will do a short flash every so often when a charged battery is connected.

My case closes very securely. You might try bending the locking tab out a little bit.

Congrats! And welcome! ;)

Usually they are pretty close to fully charged when they arrive. If the light turns green, they are fully charged. It won't hurt them not to take them off the charger since the charger is programed to stop charging when the battery is charged. (Either that, or the battery is programmed to stop charging - forget which actually lol)

I didn't see any instructions about charging the PCC unit. How long should that be charged, how will I know it is done charging and how long will it last?

To charge the PCC case, just plug in to a USB port on your laptop or computer. One of the lights will turn red. It usually takes several hours to charge fully, and when it is complete the light will turn green. Then it is ready to charge a battery 4 to 5 times on the run. Just screw in an uncharged battery and the other light will turn red to show it is charging the battery. When the battery is charged, it will turn off and blink every so often showing that the battery is ready to use.

It should stay closed. Is it the pcc case or just the plain case? Mention it in the comments section on your next order and I am sure they will send you a new one.

Thanks JenJen! This is really my only complaint with V4L so far. While I am a techie, I could see how some people would like (or need) better instructions for the use of the PCC and chargers. I hope that when Steve or Mark get time, that they will either add this info to their website, or preferably, as instructions which come with the product. This only makes the equipment more user friendly, and eliminates the need for forum posts, telephone calls, or misuse (and subsequent replacement.)

I just tried my first e-cig. I used the pineapple 24 mgs. I have to admit I about choked to death. LOL. Do you think it is because it is 24 mgs? I smoke Marby Reds so figured the 24 would be about right to start with but these were really harsh and major choke. I'm not giving up or complaining about the product, just wondering what you all think.

I will let others with more experience answer this one, but I myself just started vaping 2 days ago, and sometimes I get that harshness too (I use 24mg.) Many people here say that there is a learning curve to vaping, and I would have to agree. You will have to learn to inhale differently, and unless you are alergic to PG, you should learn to adjust with time and practice.

My case pops open a lot if I keep it in a cargo pocket where it's knocking against my leg a lot. I just put a rubber band around it to keep it shut.

That is exactly what I started with, my first drag I about coughed up a lung. Took it in way too hard and fast (got a little shot of juice in the mouth also) so I went down to slow sips pulling into my mouth then into my lungs, increasing the amount each time. No more coughing for me, it feels and tastes fantastic and I've now finally learned how to get good vapor.

My boyfriend on the other hand no matter what he tries he coughs hard with every drag, although he hasn't really practiced with it he just tries a hit now and then. Next order I'm going to order some lower nic cartos for him to try.

We both smoked Marb reds. I gather from all the reading I've done and the experiences we've had that it really varies greatly from person to person, you just need to find the flavor and nic amount that works for you.
