Hello, So Ihave had my new Provari for about 3 weeks and i am using Ibtanked 2.0 single coils
I am new to using only VV I have been using an MVP for the last year and do enjoy the Provari so much that I am going to buy anotherone .So my question is I have been doing the ohm plus 2 rule that i see written a lot on these forums and the vape is good but when i google vape charts it seems i am close to the top of higher end Im just wondering if a 2.0 coil is ok to vape at 4 volts or a 3.2 coil at 5 volts or am i running to high just looking to see what everyone else runs there volts on with what number coil I would like to see if i am in the right range
thank you

I adjust my vape to watts.... Volts x Volts / Ohms = Watts.... 2.0 ohm coil well I would vape that @ 5 volts = 12.5 watts...........

The "+2" isn't a rule, it's just to give people a ballpark figure to start with. The charts of the "safe range" are really just a starting point as well.

The resistance of a coil +2 =X, then if you set the voltage at X is will be roughly 8 watts. As I said, it's a ballpark figure. Very few of my juices I like at 8 watts, so I wouldn't start there - besides, from experience I know I like this tank with this juice at 4.0-4.3 volts, so I set it there, then fine tune if it needs it. After you have been using the same gear for awhile, you will get a pretty good idea of what you like to vape at.

The point is to vape to taste, not numbers. If it's too hot, turn it down; too cool, turn it up.

ETA: You will also discover that the same juice will taste different in different devices. I vape my ADV at roughly 7-8 watts in a Protank and roughly 10 watts in a RM2 on my Reo.
