2.0 dc or 2.5 my faves can be found at nhaler,sweet-vapes .com(great juice as well),2.5 myvaporstore .com.The 2.5 are great lst loung time.

Thanks for the info. Having problems finding the right carto with my provari. I also hate the way the clear cartos look after a couple refills. I have some of the black 2.0 DC coming from nhaler. Hoping those will help me find the sweetspot.

Is there a way to tell if one of the coils is blown without destroying it? I'm loving this carto and I've replicated this with another from that batch. It's not the ProVari, because I've switched them out.

I'm also not sure how to tell if it's a parallel or series, but if the ProVari is reading it at 1.7 and I can run it at 6v (I can on my other device) so it's probably the latter. The ProVari's just reading the resistance of one coil, I think...

Oddly, it doesn't really make sense. If the coils were in series, one coil blown means neither would work(Think old Christmas lights). With the coils in parallel, if one blew the other would still work, but it would operate like a normal single coil atomizer.

In fact if one is blown it should only read the resistance of the working coil, which should be somewhere around 3 ohms. This just happens to also show the dual coils are in parallel. If they weren't, a dual coil would be more like 6 ohms instead of 1.5.
(In dual coils, each individual coil is somwhere around 3 ohms, and combined they equal a resistance of 1.5-2.0 through the formula 1/Rp = 1/R1 + 1/R2)

I've been successfully vaping my provari w/ 1.5 clear dual coils anywhere from 3.8 to 4.2v before i get an error code...still, i'm vaping up a storm with them, lots of vapor and great flavor between 3.6 to 3.8v... i will be looking to order 2.0's or higher to try out at higher voltage settings too...

2ohm carto seem to be ok but the 1.5 dual coils won't vape without an error above 4v or not at all when they after a while seen to loose resistance and go down to 1.3v then they won't vape at all without an error . The EMDC that I have do that or one of the coils goes on it so I don't use them any more other than the ones I already have .I like to use the ego mega or XL atomizers with the filler cartridge . SR seems to be 2ohm and LR seems to be 1.5 ohms but with the single coil they both work ok at diffeent volatages . 2 or 3 ohm boge cartos work good as well as the echo bottom coil for capacity . I think with the VV there is no need for LR anymore . For 5v or above I recomment HR .
