One of my Cartomizers cuts out in 1 second

Hi all,

I received a new pear flavor cartomizer (V4L) which causes the battery to cut out in 1 second. All my other carts last the normal time (4+ seconds).

The pear cart does work, but it doesn't heat up enough to produce sufficient vapor.

Is the pear cart shorting out or something?

Id shoot V4L an email about it - I havent used their products so I dont know whats 'common' but it doesn't sound 'right' from what youre saying. Most of the suppliers are pretty decent about questions or issues.

Sounds like it is a defective carto.

Does it make the battery cut out when the battery is fully charged? Or only when the battery is low on power?

I agree with Zoi, I have pear cartomizers as well and have not had any problems. In fact I have had no problems with any flavored carto that I have gotten from them.

The only other thing that I can think of is that maybe it is the pin on the bottom of the cartomizer. The round piece with the hole in the center. Use a pin or small screwdriver and gently pry up around this pin so it raises up a bit and makes a better connection with the atty connector. When you screw it in, do not tighten it too much.

The pear cart cuts out even on a full battery.

It does produce some vape so the pin/wire seems to be connected, but maybe the resistance of the wire is too low and the chip thinks there is a short.

Anyway its only one cart, I'll just throw it out rather than risk damage to the battery.
