I've heard v3 of the FT clone is pretty good. They fixed the fire-on-wake issue so there's no delay. The FC version and cheaper FT versions still have a delay from sleep. Some of the older clone versions have random wake ups and "Evolv dna" on wake. I bought 6 cloupor rejects from Elev8 for $5 ea and 3 of 6 worked with all of these issues. 1 that worked didn't have a working display but started working after I took out some glue. I got them to install dna 40 boards into but have been using 2 of them off and on.

I have a VS rDNA 40 and just picked up a VS dna 30 today. The clones are close enough if you're on a budget but the Evolv DNA chips are obviously better.

I totally agree with that Even the ipv mini that was just released is a pretty solid device. With the sx-130 chip in it. But removin and replacing the 18650 battery is a breeze. And the form factor is that of a zna mod It's only 60-70$ and well worth the money in my humble opinion.

It will be really awesome to start seeing more chips use temperature sensing. I was a bit put off about it at first. But after I bought some of the nautilus Tenperature sensing coils and used it for a few days. I see what the fuss is about. It fires off at 12 watts like a device running 30 and gets there really fast. Have been a bit intimidated to build my own coils with ni-chrome. I know it can not take the heat

Somebody mentioned the ipv mini the other day in an MVP 2.0 thread and it's caught my attention. The only problem is, I can't find a single review anywhere except for the manufacturer discussing it in very broken English.

Without "step down" DNA mods are just not my bag. Sure they work great provided you use the builds that they were designed for, but I'm not going to put up with a hot vape while I wait for the battery to become half dead before it will provide the wattage I want.

IMO the Kick-2 with "step up & step down" is a far better product. (the new DNA-40 has "step down")

I have had both clone dna 30s and authentics. I have never had a fast tech one. I have had a Cloupor DNA 30 and it worked great for a week then the screen went out.

I have a authentic Hana V3 that I got for an excellent deal and love it.

I have a Vaporshark RDNA and it works great too.

Just make sure if you buy a clone it has a good warranty or the seller offers a long return period like 60-90 days.

New sigelei 50w box mod is out soon I have the v2 and its been rock solid for me but the v3 has fixed the few niggles some people had with it. I've only gone up to 35w on mine which seems to be the sweet spot for the lemo and wouldnt think twice about getting a new one might even buy a second after Xmas as a backup to my three other backups .
